Changed my vote from Nagelsmann to Slot and Ange. I'm tired of having big names and high profile signings already, managers or players. This club badly needs a reset and flying under the radar. Keep everything under expectations for 1, 2 years or so and let the manager/players play free so we can maybe enjoy some great football.

What have the club done to me...? I am now only looking forward to deep run in to League Cup and FA Cup for next season.. 😓

There is a part of me that thinks someone like Ange would be perfect.

No ego, point to prove, seems like a 'nice bloke', won't moan when he's inevitably not back sufficiently in the transfer market (this will definitely happen with Nagelsmann) will just get on with what he's got, get the players/fans on his side and have us playing football again.

Nagelsmann would be perfect if the club was run properly, but...yeah...

Lets just have a manager who loves us as we love him - ala BMJ, MP....I want to feel good about Spurs again
The likes of Porro, Richy and Romero under the management of a cuddly king. Proper float like a butterfly/sting like a bee potential.

I love reading about all the people who say they are not coming to Spurs. Especially as I have never heard of 90% of the names thrown around

The more you hear something like that the more Poch makes sense based on his previous time here.

I'm not convinced he's the answer but you can see how it could work.

Yeh, I am pretty worried he’ll end up there. Boehly has been reluctant to get rid of Potter but Nagelsmann being available might change things.
Well as long as he not bothered by no CL...

There's really nothing about Spurs in his comments - other big6 clubs won't be changing their managers soon. And by all reports he was only on Paratici list who probably won't be here in next month anyway?
I agree, I'm not sure how people are linking his comments to us

Enrique’s comments should set alarm bells ringing at the Club, he clearly doesn’t think we’re going to be competitive anytime soon and if he isn’t convinced then we may as well forget JN.

Shambles of a Club at the moment.
He said he has had offers from National Teams but not Clubs so not so sure he is referring directly to us, sounds more like we've not contacted him and he's just stating that right now as things stand unless a big team in the PL come in for him with the right project he won't move to the PL.

Shame as I think he'd be great for us but at the same time I think there are a number of other managers who would be more suited to our specific project.

But for the club to be SURPRISED is hilarious because if we as fans aren't, then the statement last night is extremely worrying. It just seems to be the Tottenham way that we have no contingency plan!
It's as if Levy and co looked at the press coverage and gossip, thought "people will think we don't know what we are doing" and then decided to prove it beyond doubt. The FP video was weird enough but to follow it with the statement re the ban shows a bewildering lack of awareness/planning/PR common sense. It's like something out of "The Thick of It". 😂 I've been among those prepared to cut Levy/ENIC some slack despite the increasing number of fiascos because "better the devil you know" etc but this shows that even if Joe isn't selling up, the club needs someone other than DL making the big decisions.

Also, I get the feeling he’d be a Martin Jol type. The sort of character to unite a club and get a bit of feel good about the place.

Yep just watch the Amazon AON documentary to see how utterly clueless Levy, Donna Cullen and the rest of the board are on the football and PR side, it’s hilarious.

It also means for this manager search that they will chop and change idea’s because they have NO IDEA.

A well run club would’ve had a contingency plan in place for this and acted on it quickly.

See Brighton after Potter for example, straight onto De Zerbi.

Arteta after Mudryk wages were too high, straight onto Trossard.

The way we operate is so reactionary but even when we do react Levy and the board make bad decisions on the football side more often than not, this is a seriously bad combination and is exactly why we are in this perpetual cycle.
