Fair play, fought to get back into it. Could have won it but got also got away with one when Fernandes his the bar and it could have gone to 3-1.

Didn't expect to get points before the game, definitely didn't expect to get points at half time, so to come back and pick up the draw was great to see. With some of the chances we had we could easily have come away with all 3 points, and I would have much preferred us to keep going for the win right to the end.

Improvement though, so it's a positive for sure.

We carried on missing but managed to get the draw. It was the least we deserved tonight. Lots of scuffles amongst our own fans tonight… like I said earlier, strange evening.

Usually i’d hate seeing it out for a draw but the club, the fans and the players all needed a positive result here so its a bit understandable that they were concerned about throwing it away after doing the hard work to get back into it.

I thought everyone was good in that second half. Actually in most of the game, but for some defensive lapses. Usual scapegoats Perisic and Hojbjerg both very good.
Couldn't disagree more, Dier was horrific and missed a sitter to top it off. Peh is a fraud, hides in the middle, some of his passing is terrible as well. Richy tried but very poor again and Son was miserable apart from the goal. Yes we battled well at times but got it to 2-2 then sat back again, what good was a draw.
Biggest disappointment of the night is the lack of obv noise on tv re protests against levy and co.

A point means an awful lot after our form the last few weeks. To fight back from two nil down to draw that will be a big confidence boost. If we'd have gone on to lose it that fight back would have meant nothing.

Except that clawing it back from 2-0 down has meant nothing as a draw is about as useful as a loss for CL qualification. Sure we get some nice feel goods but I'd be happier seeing us lose trying to win than us draw trying not to lose.

Edit: and I'd say I've generally been one of the more positive people in the thread throughout the game. I just don't get that mentality at 2-2.

Although I'm disappointed we didn't go on and try to get a 3rd...with our form recently we would have conceded, lost and knocked all the confidence gained from that second half performance.
Yeah, this is something to build on. Had we lost that it would have been devastating. They were coming back onto us before Tanganga appeared.

Well done Ryan and well done lads. For the first time for a few weeks cannot fault the effort and nobody was hiding.

Yeah but after a 6-1 hammering a few days earlier, it might have been a take what we have which is understandable, considering their fragile confidence

Oh I get that for sure, just felt we looked more comfortable and less likely to concede while we were on the attack.

It's almost as if we don't have a squad of total cloggers when they can get their tails up a bit and are asked to actually do a football

Thoroughly enjoyed that 👏 that is how these players can play with a bit of freedom and confidence and positivity.

Well done Mason and the boys great comeback.

Have to say, I think Ryan Mason has managed that game really well. Good subs, and when we were on top he actually genuinely tried to win it.

Much better in the second half all over, think every player improved in the second 45. Mason deserves a lot of credit, just for not doing what’s come before him and just timidly hoping the other team don’t beat us. He tried to take all three points.
thats incorrect he brought on tanganga for son, and we sat back for a point, hardly trying to win it
