So the tube drivers called off their strike.
Game time could've stayed the same after all.
Nothing but 3 points from this game to get above Villa.

This home game against Forest is chock-full of narrative. Brennan Johnson is bang in form and looking to enjoy himself against his former club more than when returning to the City Ground earlier in the season. He still has the scar on his forehead to remember it by after he spilt blood for the cause following a clash of heads and had to leave the game early. He is our main attacking threat recently and will have the measure of the Forest defence having played with many of them. Then of course, Nuno is coming back to the TH stadium after just 10 league games in charge of us and a record of 5-0-5. The amount of games under him where we had zero shots on target and played aimless football was ridiculous but he seems to have found a way to keep Forest looking exciting and trying to score goals, not that they win many of those games though and with four points deducted as well by the PL they need everything they can get. Forest are coming off one of their best performances of the season against Fulham. They looked quick, sharp and vibrant up top in that game but also showed that they give a lot of chances away at the other end. I thought we played quite well and had a lot of very promising situations at West Ham that the stats don't recognise, crosses flashed across the box but nobody getting a shot off. I hope Ange considers Richy instead of Werner for this one because he could fill his boots if we can feed him like that. This is a must-win game and we will win. Tottenham Hotspur 3 Nottingham Forest 1. COYS!

Is it too much to ask for a comfortable no stress victory, I mean even Forest themselves had one in midweek when 3 nil up at half time. Surely we can’t concede first again at home to inferior opposition can we? Law of averages says that we are due to score a first half home goal aswell too so here’s hoping that comes on Sunday after Villa have dropped more points at home to Brentford.

* We'll need to win and hope Villa drop points vs Brentford for us to go above them.

Train strikes still on though - c2c, Gatwick Express, Greater Anglia (which includes Stansted Express), Great Northern, Southeastern, Southern, South Western Railway (which includes Island Line) and Thameslink.

So basically anything from Cambridge, Essex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex etc still couldn't get into london on the Monday

So same starting 3 again methinks.
I think they will be really difficult to break down and the likes of Deki and GLC will be really important

This could explode quite quickly if we don't have our wits about us. Plenty of danger in this Forest side. I'm not confident of a clean sheet, but I think we stand a good chance if we can control the midfield and snuff out MGW

It would make a nice change if we won at home without going in a goal down at half time or going one down between 45-60 mins and then having to claw our way to victory by getting a leveller in the last 15-20 mins followed by a last gasp winner.

But where's the fun in that!

Forest have a decent front 4 with plenty of pace. No doubt we will need to score at least 2 to win.
Might be a surprise for Villa as Brentford are starting to play a bit. Mbuemo back. Could be a pivotal weekend. Watkins prob still out but hopefully back for next weekend at Arsenal.

It'd be nice to see some intensity from the off, rather than casual tracking and defending and then chasing the game. If we approach this one with lots of walking pace footy and sideways passing, they've got plenty of pace to pick us off.
