Unless I'm understanding it wrong, I don't think it's a contract on how much he can spend, just that he gets to use the budget he's given plus player sales etc in however way he chooses without having players sold underneath him or 'club signings' being dumped on him. I'm sure that's what we all want, Levy sets the budget and has zero involvement after that.If it’s true about contractual agreements to spend ….next !
I don’t want that at all - I want a DoF who does all that, in a harmonious relationship with the manager.Unless I'm understanding it wrong, I don't think it's a contract on how much he can spend, just that he gets to use the budget he's given plus player sales etc in however way he chooses without having players sold underneath him or 'club signings' being dumped on him. I think this is more important than the manager appointment to be honest. Gives a clearer picture to what the footballing vision is likely to look like.So he says. He hinted at some movement on the DoF front yesterday, but said he’d been advised not to share fully yet.
Confusion rules! Really no problem. Think you must have deleted them and mine moved up the chain into target and I assumed it was mine. LFZ (Levy Free Zone)Thanks. I take that back as I saw the word Levy in the post you quoted and didn't take the time to read your post and take the context into consideration. In short, I fucked up.
Sorry!
Ffs Levy! Pay the money and get Nagelsmann in and then step back and let him build a team. No one wants to see Harry Winks reintegrated into this team which is what’ll happen if Ryan Mason gets it. It would be an utter shit show!Regardless of whether we see a standout or not it's been 4 months in the making. All last week I was hearing down to two. Then this morning there are reservations and not willing to meet certain terms etc etc and we are back to chucking names around the boardroom again. Post Jose was an utter mess legitimately an absolute shitshow. Managers turning us down, us turning our noses up at managers who we then went back to speak to weeks later, then came the Gattusso, Fonseca, Nuno catastrophe.
Now you can blame Fabio all you like but only Gattusso is on him. The mess that preceded that was all Levy and the board, and fuck me was it a mess to sort out. Fabio is gone now and we are looking we are going round the track again only this time it's at a much slower pace.
The exact words from my man this morning were "Nagelsmann was doable. He was keen, but Levy was unsure about what was required in the deal and didn't want to commit".
I think any manager needs to understand we need to sell a lot of players before we sign anymore.
Our squad is bloated with players who either don’t want to be here or aren’t good enough.
We’re doing an Everton. From a Big 6 Club to oblivion.Levy thought Sherwood was a good idea
The precedent is there, It's really not impossible Levy goes for Mason
There is more than one way of "doing a Leeds"
Doubt it. too much money. Uncle Joe would pull the plug on the Daniel Levy experiment should that even appear likely. We’re doing an Everton. From a Big 6 Club to oblivion.
Especially with what levy thinks there worthYeh but selling players with us is hard enough and that is before we consider the market hasn’t been favourable to selling.
We are hovering around 5/6/7 after a shite season in the EPL. What part of oblivion is that. Really? Get a grip. We’re doing an Everton. From a Big 6 Club to oblivion.
What you say about Lewis may be true but the money Levy is making on the investment is through property development and non football usage of the stadium. If Levy was taken completely away from the football side of things ENIC(Lewis) would still be making the same(maybe more) money. The football side under Levy is not making the money on the investment that it potentially could because Levy keeps making horrendously bad decisions . I keep thinking that Levy must have something on Lewis to be allowed to continue to make Tottenham Hotspur a laughing stock. And it’s got much worse since the stadium was completed. Makes no sense to me.So basically Levy has more than likely killed any move for Nagelsmann as he probably saying to himself your loss.
What amazes me is how Lewis just sits back and watches him destroy the club.
Then again all Lewis cares about is making money of his investment and no one better than Levy for that.

Everton were a Big 6 club( I think they are 3rd in top division titles) but poor transfer policy and hiring and firing managers at the drop of a hat has them in real danger of being relegated with massive debts around their neck . They are in this position because of poor decisions from their board/owners. The only real difference between us and them is we completed the stadium before the Pooh hit the fan so we will always have income regardless of how the team is doing whereas they have big debts and diminishing income. We are hovering around 5/6/7 after a shite season in the EPL. What part of oblivion is that. Really? Get a grip.
Employ the right manager (hopefully) and we will progress again. All this talk is just dragging you along on the train.
In Mr T's words, come to a stage where I pity the fool who takes the managers job under Levy.
It’s like a more modern version of Pochball. Very nice to watch.Watching this Brighton game and I'm so impressed.
The shape, movement passing. I wouldn't be sad at all if we decided to throw a truck full of cash at De Zerbi
I thought he was on the list Ali Gold I think said ? That's why I mentioned him. It’s like a more modern version of Pochball. Very nice to watch.
Surprised if we’ve not even considered him or looked at his buy out clause.
