A lot sure can happen in a season or so, last season a lot (not all) of us were clamouring for the likes of Potter or Amorim. Now it’s Slot who is flavour of the month, who I had never heard of until he was linked when Conte left. Now, from the little I’ve read on here he is the one I want…plus my 40/1 bet!

I'd be happy with Slot but to have him way ahead of JN is ridiculous
Probably a lot of pragmatism in the voting. We can’t have a manager who the Board aren’t fully behind. For some reason they have written off JN (or he said no but that ultimately amounts to the same lack of mutual trust and confidence in each other which could be hard to fix) which is why I think Slot edges ahead.

Tottenham have settled on Arne Slot, Ruben Amorim and Ange Postecoglou - in Romano's latest podcast wotsit.
Also Spors no longer being considered for DOF.

Apologies if someone already posted.

If you listen to the Tottenham way pod the German journalist said Nagelsmann doesn't consider us big enough and the talk of DOF'S wasn't true and he just felt that our stature wasn't good enough for him.

Conversely, if you listen to View from the Lane pod, Charlie Eccleshare makes some very good points about why Nagelsmann actually wasn't a great fit and that everything Spurs need to do next really isn't appropriate for what Nagelsmann was offering.

Slot, Amorim, Kompany etc are all a much better fit at this point and more akin to what we got with Poch when he joined in 2014.

Haaland will definitely be at City a lot more than two seasons.....
Doesn’t he have a release clause that kicks in next summer? To be honest if he wins everything in 2 seasons (League, league cup, Fa Cup, champions league) he can depart with a clean sweep! Sure if Real stump the money he would go.
