Why would jota be slipping away?

Celtic aren’t in a position to turn down decent money, surely he’d like to increase his profile by coming to the epl and increase his wages??

All good options for Ange's style of football, interesting for LW target, wonder if that is just squad depth or if he might try to use Sonny RW or ST. Absolutely loved Pulisic at Dortmund, feel like he never really got a fair go at Cheslea, he's still only 24 but injury record is an issue!!!! but surely they wouldn't sell to us. Barnes is a solid homegrown option, wouldn't mind that. Jota is a really good player and obviously knows the Ange system, he can also cover LW and RW which is a bonus, would be surprised if Celtic sold him though.

Thanks for the updates mate, we are being spoilt on the ITK front lately!

For the LW spot we either bring in real competition for Son, a player arguably better than him, or we bring in a wonderkid who has the potential to be at that level. Neither Solomon, Pulisic or Barnes fit into those categories tbh. I'd like to think we can do better if we can move on a few players for decent fees.

Obviously only seen the highlights, but damn does he seem explosive/exciting.

Have to imagine from Trix's comment that there's a good chance the player is coming from Ange's knowledge of the Asian market, which has been greatly touted but we're yet to see any links from.

And incredibly injury prone . There’s got to be better options out there than Pulisic .

can’t think of any games over the last couple of years where he has stood out even when Chelsea were playing well .

he came over with this reputation of being a potential world class player and in all honesty has flopped massively

Me too, mate. And that’s what I ended up having to do. Just stuck mine up from a couple of quid to a tenner.

I know another player who fits your last description that Chelsea gave up on who turned into an okay player for another PL team. Think he was called Kevin or something. Although I am still not totally convinced on Pulisic.

Alec Scott has been on clubs radar for 2 years now and its possible we sign him but its not the highest priority , we shipped 63 league goals last season so there are going to be 2 if not 3 center half coming in now



As I have said its highly likely Holberg goes we have concrete interest from Bayern and athletico he does not fit Ange system , Ange wants to have a look at gill, glc and tangy pre season but bearing in mind bissouma is injury prone and Rodrigo will not even make the bench until mid/end of sept then there is a good chance 2 new midfielders will come In as well, Ange will want 6 high energy midfielders , 2 who can sit and 4 in the bentacur /maddison role there must be 2 players for each role



kulu was seen as a bit of a punt fantastic first season not so good second we are paying 30 million over 6 years and he is young with a high ceiling so we took a punt but depending how things pan out do not be surprised if we splash heavily on a top forward /winger to make up the 3 with H and son
