It's an avenue to hook people who then go to his youtube page and other more monetized platforms.
He probably makes a good amount of money on appearances and other guest work.

This one always had the most noise around it so not surprised it is the one we pushed through. Never heard of him until he was linked so it I’m interested to see how he will do. Will need time obviously.

Get VDV done first, then hopefully we get a breakthrough in the Tapsoba negotiations which makes it too good a deal to turn down, given he was our first choice.
Was the only way we were getting both IMO. If we wrapped up Tapsoba first we would have stopped pushing for VDV.
Or perhaps our intention was always both but we had to tell each club we only wanted one or the other to strengthen our negotiating position. Who knows?

This one is the same as the Raya/Vicario situation. Some at the top end preferring VDV, others Tapsoba But pretty much everyone unanimous that either would be a solid signing and a good fit for how we are looking to play moving forward. I've not heard anything in the last 24 hours or so, so I don't know how close it is, but we were 100% talking to Tapsoba's people over the weekend as well. I was told quite matter of factly that we wouldn't be getting both, and we were looking at either/or plus a homegrown option with one eye on the future, so lets see how it pans out. If we've found a different HG option for elsewhere perhaps Tapsoba also now is possible. My guy was convinced it wouldn't be both though.

Thanks Trix, shame it won’t be both as we could use the hard CB reset it will give us.
Guess we just need to keep fingers crossed that we get at least one in early and it gives us the opportunity to carefully consider how we fill the squad

This guy has a massive ceiling. Would be a very good signing.
Just need to hope he adapts quickly, feel Tapsoba was safer bet there.
Wish we could get Tapsoba too, with a view to bedding VDV at LB initially. But this is Spurs I guess.
I do like the look of Tosin a lot too.
