Didn’t even consider him as I thought Pool had him signed up.

Should definitely be on our shortlist but I believe he’s primarily played in a back 3 as the LCB, not sure how he is in a back 4.

He isn’t as good as Tapsoba imo, so should be a backup option. Need to check the data but I’m confident it will back me up.

This kid is going to be the real deal. He reminds me a bit of Vertonghen but with really good pace. I cant see us getting him over pool but him and Tapsoba would be some transformation for our defence.

Surely they're alternate targets for the same role? There's no way we're signing 2 centre backs of that calibre. Far more likely to be one or the other alongside an Adarabioyo-esque signing.

He also played left back some times. Would be happy for him to come him, but again, not as only CB addition as we need one top player to join Romero. Tapsoba + v d Veen would be decent.

If Liverpool really want him they will just wait until we have a bid accepted and come in and gazump us. No Dutch CB is choosing Spurs over Liverpool/Van dijk.
