Paul then goes onto say that we are still watching him, but after signing Maddison that decisions need to be made on N’dombele before spending another 25m on a midfielder.

The easiest decision in the history of football. Get rid asap, huge talent, immense waster, even Pep wouldn't get a tune out of him.

Absolutely! His reaction to returning to training was enough for me..

If being involved at this club is too much of a drag for you mate, here’s a one way ticket to Saudi.. Go and find a club who‘ll have you over there and pay your wages, and never come back.

I’d love Alex Scott. He looks like a player who’d excite us, and would be a great alternative to Madders. Him being a Tottenham fan tops it all off rather nicely as well.

Put your hand up if you've ever seen Alex Scott play a full 90 mins of football...

If they would of accepted £15m, he sound of been here already
Guess it’s the opening gambit but now a bids gone in you wonder if it’ll prompt the likes of us, Wolves and West Ham to follow suit shortly although admittedly I don’t think we are really in the race for Scott this summer.

This kid is definitely one that in 2 seasons we all wish we’d spent £20m on now!
(like Maddison whom we looked at for 8 years)

and he will be quoted 100m in a few years
and then you can both give yourselves a big pat on the back for being right.

On a Spurs forum, the exam question is should we stretch to making an acceptable offer?

If the budget is limited, which it has to be under Levy, is this worth doing more than a new CB?

We decided to spend near 20 million on Spence last year as we thought he was a prospect.

Imo Scott is more of a sure thing than Spence.
