I'm usually one of more easy going, optimistic users on here, but even I'm quite frankly perplexed about why we don't seem to be any further along in our search for a CB.
It's an absolute joke that our first League game is in 17 days and we're no better off in what has clearly been our weakest position for over a year.
Even if we make a signing next week it's only going to give them a little over a week to bed in with the rest of the squad. I can't see a scenario where either Davies or Dier doesn't start the first game of the season alongside Romero.

It’s the position that required the most surgery this summer. Ship 2-3 out, get min of 2 top CBs in. 2 weeks until the season starts and nothing. How this club is run is beyond a joke.
