Not sure why there is a bit of sourness towards Kane. He didn’t come out and say he wants to leave. He said he wants what’s best for the clubs interest as he’s not signing a new contract at this moment. Levy is the one who picks where he goes as he’s still contracted. It seems Kane would be happy to stay and play ange style football and not too fussed what happens, not like when city came calling.
Kane has a say, Levy can't force him out. Kane can simply say no to Bayern.

If Kane chooses to go to those shit ****s at Bayern, that's on him and nobody else.
Levy hasn't forced him to make that choice, all he's (possibly) done is try to protect the club by getting decent money for him.
The choice to go is Kane's and Kane's alone and that's why there's a certain amount of sourness towards him.

I don’t think he shouldn’t play, no matter what the outcome of his leaving/not leaving is.

Harry has been one of our greatest ever players, for all we know he wants to leave us at this time as he knows we can get good money for us, go on and maybe win some trophies (which isn’t likely at spurs although I would imagine he would prefer to do it with us than any other club), and leave us with a means for a rebuild that is badly needed.

I am not bitter, he may be leaving-I would hope that he has the opportunity to say goodbye to us and we to say goodbye to him. I for one would love to be able to give him my support one last time and say goodbye (unfortunately I cannot get to games anymore) and then move on with our new era.

No player is bigger than Spurs, but respectfully-Harry should get our love one last time to say thanks for the memories.

Nope. He'd just be stealing minutes off players who both need and deserve the time.
He's had support for every single game he's played for us, that should do just fine without some fairytale goodbye bullshit.
He's just a player, albeit a very good one but he's not worthy of disrupting our preparation for.

If you want to say goodbye, write him a letter or post on his socials.
Fuck giving him playing time just so everyone can get their weird emotions out one last time.

Honestly, I don’t think my emotions are weird at all dude (or bullshit)I think a lot of us feel this way-I understand why some will agree with your view, it’s just my opinion and I respectfully disagree. Advising me to write a letter comes across as a bit condescending if I’m honest.

Genuinely feel for the guy. It feels like all that early positivity has bled away since the Leicester game was called off. First we spent an age getting the defender in for him, and now all this with Kane.
Mate, got to say it but it’s not like we haven’t seen managers left in the lurch like this before, especially new ones coming in who have probably been promised the earth only to find they get their legs broken by day 43.

Considering he's openly talked about how coming to such a shitshow and trying to achieve something here was part of the attraction to him, I'm personally not too concerned that he'll be too bothered with how things have panned out. He'll have understood this situation with Kane, and he'll know that it's a long season...he's worked in football for a good long while.

Not for me mate.
While I can completely understand his decision to leave, he's leaving by his own choice and that means he doesn't get a single minute in our shirt again.

He's chosen to leave, that means he's chosen to give up his hero's goodbye.

We look forwards now, not backwards.

(I'd whitewash that fucking stupid mural too, if it were up to me!).
I agree with you.

I'm more saying what I think will happen

Yes but it’s better he goes there than one of our rivals. He’s obviously desperate to win a trophy and play CL, which we can’t offer. Would you prefer he stayed this year and leave for one of our rivals next season? At least this way he protects his spurs legacy. I think people need to get off his back.

I apologise if I came across as condescending, that wasn't my intention.
I'm just old, battle scarred and grumpy so please don't take offence at my bluntness, I don't always express myself in a reasonable manner.

I know people are saying if he's off to Bayern then we shouldn't include him, but come on...

It's not Modric, Bale or Berbatov.... this guy has been a part of everything enjoyable in the last 10 years, he's spurs through and through.

I'm not saying we start him, but he should get a chance to say goodbye.

He could have gone years ago and didn't, he stayed and he never downed tools, even when we went shit. He kept on being the best striker/playmaker around.

For the last few seasons he's been one of the only decent things about spurs.

So I say again, give him a send off that he fully deserves. He is welcome back anytime.

I don't give a shit about the media circus or whatever, give the guy the respect he has earned.

I’ve been away from the forum for a few months with Leukaemia, must recently having a stem cell transplant. The docs tell me I should look at it as a second chance at life.

I see the Kane situation the same way to some extent. It’s a completely shit and horrible situation, but we have a chance to rebuild (again) and slowly it will be ok (I hope).

Life and spurs will go on….
Mate your a Champion ❤
