But didn't the journos break it this morning then the ITK confirm it, as though it was new news?

I guess maybe don't lump all the ITKs into one pot as we hear different things from different ones but I think a few have been fairly consistent with what they've been telling us (but everyone got confused when the news in the press was then completely different over the past week).

Not sure why people keep banging the German league dominated by one club drum. What is so different about the PL? Yeah, it is much more competitive and entertaining to watch, but it still doesn't stop Man City from clearing up.

Harry will do what is best for himself and his family, so he will sign a 5-year deal with us. It just makes sense.

It's not just Bayern's dominance in the Bundesliga, which is the issue. It's a less prestigious league.

4 different English clubs have won the Champions League in the last 15 years.

The last German team to win, who isn't BM was Borussia Dortmund in 1997.

LOL. I just gave my mother a vehement "No". for those that don't know, my 90+year old mother has become quite the Spurs fan in the last 10 years and has been picking up on all facets from tactics to personnel. (She understands hte offsides rule better than many) She just texted me suggesting i change my avatar and given that nothing is done until the gravity challenged lady sings, that offer was refused hoping that it shows Harry that it is possible to say no even under the most difficult circumstances.

I’ll tell you, did NOT love walking through downtown Toronto this morning and seeing this bit of Spurs news pop up on the Reuters video news board.

Speaking as someone who has emigrated, 3 years younger than Harry when I did it... it's not an easy thing to do... it's literally leaving everything behind, including parents, grandparents of the kids, etc. That's an emotional crippler with aging grand parents and the thought of robbing them of those years with young grandchildren. We tend to forget all this stuff, because it's football, or the money is so huge, etc... but I would imagine they've had this conversation a thousand times this summer and probably had a different outcome half the time. That's what it was like for me.
We only moved 400 miles away 4 years ago and it was exactly the same, the guilt was unreal

There’s something that still feels off about all this and not quite right.

No planned medical?
No official announcement?
It is odd. Every single negotiation in this transfer window the player has agreed first and then haggling has been done between the clubs. If there is eventually an agreement, the player goes. Even more so if the negotiation has dragged on for months.

Meanwhile, Liverpool bidding almost £100m for Caicedo without selling any of their best players, whilst we hang about waiting to spread ourselves thin and spend pennies on some young replacements for our best player this Century.

The difference between us and even the tightest of our top 6 rivals is clear.
Liverpool have lost Milner, Henderson, Fabinho and Fermino of their wage bill. We still have NDombele, Dier, Sanchez, Reggie on our wage bill.

Yeah A&C was saying it could be the news from last week (ITK update 32) - but then there were posts from ITKs saying that things had changed this morning.

So basically - we're none the wiser.

This is one of those situations in his life where he is truly in a place where he hasn't been before. His life is this football club, it's all he has known. Making a decision to walk away from that is not easy. What he must be feeling right now is an appreciation of the Bayern interest however, a massive tear inside at the thought of leaving what he knows and loves.

Honestly, this could be the blessing we have needed in order for him to realise what he feels about the club and sign a new deal.......... or he might sign for Bayern .........!

I live further away from my parents than Kane would be in Munich, and they see the grandkids several times a year. I would expect that Harry's parents, and Kates parents would be regular fixtures in Munich if Kane decides to go.
