A solid start. Expected to see more drive near the end and more subs to really add energy, pace, ideas and push for the winner. Too much stationary tippy tappy without purpose near the end for my liking - perhaps due to lack of forward runners and some players' inability to beat a man. Still much more interesting than the stuff served up by Conte and Mourinho.

A lot of promising football. My big concern is the GK. This guy looks like a joke. Eveything was laced with anxiety. Its like we've respawned a young Hugo on his worst days.
I was pretty calm with Vicario league debut and all hardly a shit show

Great performance away from home, 3 great debuts and it confirmed the 3 positions that need reinforcement in Striker, CB and Winger for various reasons.

As many others have said, a lot of positives today.

The pace we have amongst our defenders are so refreshing.

Udogie, Bissouna and Maddison are superstars.

Get in some actual prolific goalscorers and we will cook.

It's his first game in English football, and it's at the very top end. He's going to need some time, fuck me.
I voiced a concern. That performance today doesn't concern you? You're happy with it?

VDV played his first game too and looked like Jan Vertonghen. You can still voice concerns on here cant you?

We still panic at the back, and that needs to be resolved, but there were absolutely positives to take from the match as well

++ Maddison, Bissouma
+ Udogie

Very encouraging performance. Thought we were clearly the better team and deserved a win. Impressed with all our new players. Hard to choose between Bissouma and Royal for our MotM.

Vicario was a bit worrying, hope he settles in soon and becomes a bit more solid.

Would like to see another midfielder come in to cover Bentancur and/or Bissouma. Don't think the backup options we have at the moment are good enough.

Refreshing performance. This is Spurs we want to see.

just need to move the ball a little quicker in the final 3rd. Struggled to get in behind Brentford
Undogie looks a fantastic prospect

Udogie and bissouma standouts, thought they was both fantastic. Maddison played well too, Royal grew into it.

son, Kulu, vicario werent great.

And aside from maybe last 5/10 richy was woeful, we need a CF and CB as a priority imo.

also, special mention for big Dave, came on and done very well.

overall, happy with the performance and not bad for a first competitive game.

It's not necessarily what you say that makes you sound like a **** but the way you say it.

Calling any Spurs player a "joke" is pretty shite but a guy playing his 1st game for the shirt? Have a word mate

Game we dominated, game we should have won. I’m sure many will criticize Richarlison but he’s doing his job of pressing up against the CBS but he’s not getting any service. I don’t see how Postecoglou’s system can work with an inverted winger on one flank and an inside forward on the other side. We are not getting enough crosses in.
Bissouma and Maddison were very good, the debutants did well. Royal was poor and Skipp didn’t really affect the game. Was very surprised AP took so long to make changes, that he made so few and especially Lo Celso and maybe Solomon didn’t get on.
First game though so early days. There was a lot to like but we will have tougher games which may expose us more especially defensively. ManU will cause much more problems next week.
