Would prefer a natural right sided player that can beat a man and deliver quality (not necessarily crosses) from the right side with their right foot. There aren’t that many traditional right wingers out there any more but we clearly need someone that can go round the outside with pace and be creative.
1st thing I noticed from clips is he seems very two footed. We sure he can't play on the Right ?

Wouldn’t be my first choice. He has quick feet and a burst of acceleration for sure, but he profiles very similar to Solomon and if he came in he’d likely replace Perisic and I don’t want that as he really offers something different.

Same. Olise would have been perfect.

We complain why we don't buy players like Olise, Eze before they turn good. This seems like one of those situations. Someone saying they'd rather Perisic than him?? Really?

Literally. Peri has a season left at the top level, gnoto is a huge young talent starting out his career

This is one of those links I just have a feeling will come off. With Paratici potentially still acting as a consultant and Levy loving an opportunistic deal it seems a no-brainer to me. Young, big potential and the kind of 1 v 1 dribbler we need out wide in Ange's system.

I would be keeping an eye on Neto too. If he is finally over his injury problems he could be ready to explode in the right team. I really liked him before his injury issues.

If we're not going to spend big on Williams or Doku, we could look at signing both Gnonto and Neto over the next 2 summers and having wing options of:

Gnonto/Solomon for LWF
Neto/Kulusevski for RWF

All young with high potential.
I’d love Neto tbh. He passes the eye test with flying colours for me. Very rarely a bad first touch or loose touch on the dribble, very good pace and agility and he started to add goals and assists before his injury, so he’s clearly got the ability to play at the level we aspire to in my opinion. He looked back to his best at the weekend, he just had no quality alongside him. I feel like he’s the kind of player that would really go up a level with better players around him, he has a real look of class about him to me

Has anyone half decent corroborated our interest? From what I’ve seen it seems a very weak link at best. Really wouldn’t surprise me if Leeds were using us to get Everton to pay up. But I may well have missed something.

I was thinking about this and actually, in many ways it's a good thing we didn't buy Eze or Olise when we could have because they are unlikely to have become the players they are today, right now, because they almost certainly wouldn't have had the same game time at Spurs as they've had at Palace.

Palace was the perfect platform for both of them to showcase their ability and then get the bigger move when they are ready to step and start for a bigger club. Olise now being snapped up by City. 2-3 seasons ago he was playing for Reading who are now in League 1.

Unfortunately we are now stuck in this purgatory where if we sign young, hot prospects, play them and they don't pan out then we've fucked it and shouldn't have gambled on such unknown quantities. If we don't and then sign them for 50m instead of 5m a couple years ago, we're slammed for not having that foresight and wasting money. It's a bit of a lose/lose situation for Spurs now unless we get a LOT better at using data analysis to identify them.

Don't think so and probably is, but can see it being Danjuma mk2

Was apparently one of the key targets of SC Freiburg this season but in the end not doable due to the financial conditions. Not surprising as Freiburg can not compete with PL salaries and fees. There was talk about offering around 15m Euros. Player wanted to join.

Thing is, Freiburg has usually a very careful scouting in terms of quality, potential and personality. So I am onboard bringing him in ALTHOUGH I think a central defender and a clinical striker are what we rather need and even to realize that, we need to offload players. Our biggest struggle....

Gnonto is decent, would be a bad punt, particularly given his age and how he handled himself in the Prem last season.

I think he's mainly right footed but he has played on the right. Potentially he could also play centrally as he has Adama like strength to hold off defenders.
I wouldn't be against signing him at all.
Personally, I'd prefer Neto as a more suitable option on the right. Thought he was amazing against Utd and ran them ragged and can put in a decent cross.

Submitted transfer request according to Ornstein. Only mentions Everton having bids up to £25mil rejected so far.
Leeds still want to hang Gnonto him.
