I've got no idea who Doku is either.

19 is one thing, and if we're now in the business of taking punts for the future then so be it. But for me we have more pressing concerns in THIS window that need to be looked at before we splash £20m on a kid who looks like he'd get blown over by a stong gust of wind.
Did you watch the Euro's? If so he was the one ripping it up against Italy for Belgium. He looked like Traore in the way he destroyed players, but very raw.
I haven't seen him since, but he was probably the most talked about youth after the Euros.
The way more knowledgeable posters talk about him, he seems to have kicked on.

Will admit that I haven’t watched all of these games, but seeing as he won both player of the month and young player of the month awards for the league, I doubt this is very true.

View attachment 130802

He also clearly feels that he is ready to move on as these were his quotes after winning the award:
"Back at it craving new challenges. Asafo boy chasing growth, one challenge at a time. Growth never stops. There's a world of challenges out there. Point me to the starting line. Next chapter, please,"

Very rarely have I ever seen a players performance not drop off a bit when they’re hoping to get a move.
Those awards have not been decided for August yet, so that can't be true? Also, two of those three games have been Conference League qualifiers. However, the game before those three he was in the Team of the Week in the league, so I don't know if poor performances for three games is anything to be concerned about.

The quote you provided is much more concerning. Seems really unprofessional and disrespectful towards his current club. It also ties in with the post you answered, about his mentality, squabbling with teammates and getting himself substituted at half-time. Not a good look at all, if true.

I know nothing about him personally, but when both you and the poster you answered provide evidence of unprofessional behaviour, I'd say it's cause for at least some concern.

It does feel like with the kind of fees that Brighton and other smart-scouting teams are getting for their players nowadays, it's no longer feasible for us to wait until promising young players have moved to a smaller Premier League team before we buy them, and that we need to be buying at this earlier stage, with all the risk of development that entails.

But when you look through Brighton's punts, they arent spending over approx £10 million for each one. That is sustainable. Paying £20m or £30m isnt.

The of course own a team in Belgium where they've sent players to get ready for the PL. Makes it a lot easier

Even though he's been seriously linked with PSG this summer, he's been the absolute worst player on the pitch in Nordsjællands last 3 games. He was hooked at half-time yesterday in their Conference League qualifier, after a squabble with teammates over who should take a penalty awarded near the end of the 1st half, even though everybody knows their designated taker is not him.

I'm afraid his mentality is not something you'd want in your squad.
Seriusly..... He was outstanding first half... saw it with my own eyes at stadium last night.

Where did you see the game last night? It wasn't at tv

Am I the only person who's watched all these videos and feels nothing? He looks like a fairly decent Norwegian league player but I don't see anything that suggests he'll make it against the full backs in this league.

So many hard ons in this thread and I can't help but thing it's because you've all signed him on Champ Man or whatever it's called nowadays.
This 100% - I’m seeing him frequently outmuscled and showing very little skill / technique. The main quality I see is his slick first passing.

Well now hasn't that made me look a little silly. Just shows how little interest I have in this Swedish Aaron Lennon.
Fake news. Denmark is not a country in Norway. That information was false and fake and never happened.

Yeah same. Doesn’t look particularly quick or good at dribbling to me lol

Yes transfer fees have gone up, but no chance this should be a £22m signing. Same way that Orban shouldn’t be a 30m signing.

as someone above says, the punts that Brighton, Brentford etc take are usually at much much lower prices. They wouldn’t be looking at this deal at 22m and neither should we.

Who is Traore? The Wolves meat machine who has no end product either?

Buzzing.

Then we must agree to disagree. It was indeed on TV, on TV3 Sport.

Why do you think he was subbed off? Only to do with the penalty incident?

I agree. I watch the video expecting to be blown away after reading the comments but it was a bit meh. Not that I'm judging him based on a YouTube clip, I was just expecting more.

I know you're being facetious, but a player with that kind of pace and power, but with more end product could be devastating. Why would City be after him if he had zero end product, when Traore was free?

FCN coach actually said it was because off this and the yellow he got in first halfs injury time. He was turned on. Just a little to much

Not sure what you mean mate, it’s not a photoshopped picture that I posted?

Yeah, he seems a bit overexcited recently. Perhaps just desperate to show of his ability to potential buyers. I think it's hampering his performances though.

I still feel that Sulemana was a much more complete (and better) player when he left Nordsjælland, and thus I'm pretty wary at the prices mentioned.

I think people really need to consider the fact that the videos are of a Ghanaian kid who arrived in Denmark as an 18 year old at the start of last year.

I totally agree.

When Southampton bought Sulemana, I thought we should have been all over him
