Has there ever been a bigger bellend than Arteta managing a PL club as I can’t think of one.

Which is why the punishment needs to be appropriate - fold the club I think. On a serious note, they and Liverpool are setting a horrible precedent in terms of respect for officials.
Lower league and grassroot officials will bear the brunt of this disrepect, when supporters see their clubs and managers saying stuff like this and going two-footed in on refs like this they will go at their local refs in the same way. This is bad.

More seriously, I totally agree with your point and think that PGMOL need to get together with the FA and PL and put a stop to all this now - some sort of sensible punishment.
Who'd have thought losing Xhaka would have such and impact.
Without Odegaard and playing 2 DMs is Southgate style. Havertz is not good enough to play 10 or 8 in the PL. He plays well in a free role roaming behind the striker when there is time and space to play. That rarely happens in the PL.
I can imagine him doing well in Germany when he is the main man and playing inferior opponents.
What I loved yesterday was the intensity of the game. There is not much to like about this Newcastle side, but the way the crowd and players have created an atmosphere is fantastic, very similar to us this season.
Going from boring nothing football to high intensity is great for the fans.
Arsenal are still a good team, but I wouldn’t have them anywhere near City as challengers and they'll finish below Liverpool imo as well.
I watched United and Arsenal yesterday and only two goals, but the intensity of the football was fantastic .
Fucking hell is every club going to give official statements when something former go their way??
Liverpool really opened a can of worms with their pathetic behaviour, as only a letter of time before another pathetic club followed suit
Yeah true, there is some stiff competition out there but Legohead is definitely up there challenging for the title for a change..
Let’s see if any of the football journalists have the balls to put that to him in the coming days. My guess is no, they won’t.So much for "they are trying to make the best decisions. We need to understand that mistakes happen". I guess that only applies when it doesn't negatively affect his own team.
What the actual fuck are they doing with that statement? There were no confirmed or clear and obvious errors in that match yesterday - it’s wholly irresponsible for a club to come out with that bullshit in an official capacity just because subjective/marginal decisions went against them in one bloody game. Not to mention pathetic and childish!
Honestly what the fuck are they thinking with that?
