The more you watch it the worse it gets. He loses the ball from a bad touch; lunges rashly and slides in KNEE HIGH on the Bournemouth player.

It's an horrendous challenge and everyone is just shrugging their shoulders.

That should be what lego head meant when he said disgraceful. That's fucking disgraceful of a tackle to not be sent off. No violent conduct? No foul play? See from the various angles, no ambiguity. See normal speed and slow-mo, knees could be fractured. Most important thing? He missed the ball completely. Was straight to his knee. Romero contacted with the ball before brushing up to the shin and he's not even looking at the shin. Wow, Refs and VAR can go fuck off.

Liverpool too. And Neville.

Edit: on a closer look, the ref is fucking wumb. It happened right before him clearly and fully. This should be investigated, banned Endo on retrospective action and demote the ref. Would like to know what's his reason for no action on that tackle.

Good article today in the Athletic on the use of Tramadol by footballers at all levels. Is there a doping thread in here? I'll post a link in there if needed.

Looking at the table that puts them on 4 points now, right? So 2 points behind Luton who would now be 17th and 5 behind Bournemouth who are above Luton. They can make that up between now and May. I don't think it relegates them.

It would have been much worse if they had to make that up from day one, but they have already built up enough points by this point. This table is before the deduction.

I guess it all depends on what the other teams down there do. If Burnley and Sheffield United change managers and start grinding out results, then things look grim for Everton.

Surely they appeal, points get restored until decision made, ends up applying next season instead, Luton sue league as relegated, shitshow ensues.

I believe unlike e.g. UEFA sanctions or the pre-Brexit situation, there's no route to appeal to CAS or the European courts. So it should be very possible for the PL to handle the appeal well before the end of this season.
