All the more impressive given how awful Biss was, and how poor Royal is when receiving the ball against that press. So hope we win against Newcastle to get our season back on track. Would be huge

Well pleased at getting a draw - not going to sing like it was anything akin to beating them and taking three points, but to go to theirs and pull it back twice like that was hard work, determination and a great example of how we're not dazzled by the lights.

City are so good and have such a strong squad that they could've half-beaten some teams before a ball's even kicked, especially with so many injuries, but not this group of players apparently. That was a very good result, terrific effort all round.

Ange vindicated.

Not that he needed this result to know this is the best way to play but happy for him as it’ll at least shut a few in the media up.
The result was one thing - but one of the things I noticed - after they settled down a bit - even these players were making the passes Ange wanted, and has drilled into them. Its a mindset, and you can see the players starting to believe in the process.

We were never as good as our start suggest, nor were we as bad as our last 3 matches. Its a progression, and when we get healthy, we are going to contend for things.

So many embarrassing comments in here during the last few days about us being beaten by a “cricket score” I’ll take losing 3-0 etc. it’s been pathetic. I hope some of you have the courage to say you were wrong.

Does anyone else think the ref stopped play on that late city break as the ball hit The Lumps hand before it was played to Grealish?
