I had high hopes for Gil and he's a nice lad, but feel like Donley stepping into his squad spot would be an upgrade.
Admirable, but he desperately needs to go out and get minutes. His main hope to get time here will be injuries.Fab Romano just said on his stream that Gil is staying 100% and wants to fight for his place.
Can fight all he wants, he won't become a regular starter unless we have significant injuries again. He is 100% not part of the long term future.Fab Romano just said on his stream that Gil is staying 100% and wants to fight for his place.
Different player with different skill sets but I do acknowledge that it’s gonna be hard for him to get game timeShame. I think Ange showed last night that Gil’s time is up by bringing on Donley.
Agreed. I mean if your club are prepared to let you leave on loan what does that say about how much they see you playing? Even if he is desperate to stay at Spurs in the long term, right now he'd be better off taking the loan and showing everybody that he can play in this league.Admirable, but he desperately needs to go out and get minutes. Yea could also be this, as moving country and house every 6-9 months isn’t fun. He might as well sit it out until summer.Think the lad is equally betting on himself and sick to death of going on loan constantly. Don't blame him either, but surely a permanent deal is coming in the summer.
I hope you at least light a candle to set the mood.Bryan will feel me. Behind him. Backing him.
Interesting that he enjoys staying so much here even though it should be fairly clear he's far away from a starting spot
