As has been pointed out Poch doesn't like to drop players immediately for new signings.
However with Dortmund on Wednesday I think he has the perfect excuse.
I would debut Sanchez against Everton - and then debut Aurier from the start against Dortmund.
In Dembele's absence, is this the best partnership? I wrote an article looking at this: https://tottenhamwords.wordpress.com/2016/09/12/does-the-eric-dier-victor-wanyama-pivot-work/
They haven't really gelled together yet, and obviously they don't offer as much going forward as other...
Wrote this article about where he might fit in: https://tottenhamwords.wordpress.com/2016/09/02/moussa-sissoko-what-can-he-offer-tottenham-and-how-can-tottenham-use-him/
Could see him in the traditional central midfield or right wing roles in the 4-2-3-1, or maybe operating in a 3 man midfield...
The winning of cups is essentially luck. I'm sure there are statistics for how often the 5th best team in the land should win the FA Cup and I'm sure we should have won it more than once in the last 25 years. Wigan have won a cup. Swansea have won a cup. Cardiff and Millwall got to finals. The...
Thank you for the update Master JJ. While you're confident I'll be confident.
I'm a student but I will donate when I can even if not for a couple of months yet! Really appreciate the effort that goes into running this site.
I appreciate where you're coming from but I think the nuance is slightly wrong. Poch may well consider Cabaye to be better than Dier for the immediate future, in the same way that he may consider Stambouli to be better than Dier, but he doesn't want to sign Cabaye if he doesn't particularly rate...
Walker Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Lamela Eriksen Chadli (Berahino)
I feel like we need the added dynamism of Rose, Alli and Lamela ahead of Davies, Dier and Dembele if we want to break down Stoke. Berahino in for Chadli if he signs and is ready.
