Is 3 at the back really the way to go at Chelsea? It usually means full backs play high up as wingers
That’s ok v Fulham maybe - though even there we looked fragile in defence in first half - but not so sure it will work at Chelsea
I would have a straight back 4 with a mandate mainly to defend...
It’s ironic but if Dele had not been injured GKN would not have come on as a sub and there would have been no last minute cross to score from
And for all of us who were frustrated or mystified by Dier for Lamela substitution it allowed Winks licence to roam and that paid off
Well done Poch
These attacks on a Trippier are unbalanced
He is one best attacking right backs in Premiership
He has 4 direct assists this seasons but many more where he was crucially involved in buildup
His set pieces are excellent - corners and free kicks - goal v Fulham and assist v Everton
His crossing is...
The comments about Trippier on this thread are lacking in balance in my opinion
Trippier is one of the finest attacking full backs in the Prem
Time and again he is involved in making goals for us either direct assists of which he has 4 in Prem this season or key passes in the build up to goals...
Well if you count 9 wins away in PL and 3 away in Carabao (Watford was really an away game) that is 12 and Roma pre season that’s 13 and the draw in Barcelona which was a victory that makes 14
And frankly Wembley is not really home so add the 5 wins there and we have 19
We are the homeless away...
We have a great team
In 50 years supporting Spurs I have not seen a Spurs team attack so fluently
They are a joy to watch going forward
And isn’t Sissoko a new man Awesome!
What a joy to watch the last 20 min of the first half
Eat your hearts out Man City Chelsea and Arsenal
Hope we don’t...
