Excited to see kane kulusevski and son. If they can kick off a strong partnership over the next few games it'll make a massive difference second half of the season. Reckon kulusevski is bang up for it.

I get why people think this, if he wasn't on the bench it wouldn't even be questioned but I don't see why resting Lloris is such a big deal.
It's not a big deal, I agree. But Conte never rotates keepers in the PL as far as I can remember, and keeper is a different position to outfield - he's obviously fit.

Yeah he’s just not gonna be mentally with it. Captain of a country that lost the World Cup on penalties - that’ll bother him for a while, let alone 8 days later.

Physically fit? Most likely.
Mentally fit? I guess? We likely COULD have started Lloris but just giving him one more game to get back into the swing of things for the team. Especially as Team Captain let's give him the time. It is his birthday afterall.

Agreed. We have a deputy for situations like this - Forster is a seasoned pl goalkeeper so let's give him a spot and lloris can come back when we're back in the swing of things.

Bissouma for bentancur and forster for lloris isn't a problem. It's tanganga for romero and not having richarlison on the bench. But you can't have it all

“David raya is the only Brentford player who made it to the World Cup knockouts, although he didn’t make an appearance for his home town of Spain

top commentating that

The old familiar nerves. I love the WC but it doesn't make me as nervous as just before a Spurs game.

Yes I suspect he is fully fit, doesn't mean a rest wouldn't benefit him.
