Sanchez 40m
Aurier 22m
Barkley 20m (being optimist)
Sancho 3m
Martial 70m

Total 155m

I don't see Levy spending all that money, but then I didn't think he would sanction a 40m deal for a young CB from Ajax, so who knows
You can wipe half that out with our sales so far. We may even sell a couple more to reduce it further .... Wimmer, Sissoko, Janssen

I can't say I've seen a lot of him, what's his defensive work rate like? Does he track back and help the fullback? Will he win the ball back high up the pitch?

70m package is deal Yanited would do. If other bids come in that may rise, but doubt it. I have been very well informed by the right people he wants out, and would come to us. However, extremely expensive package. Would need someone to pay 25m for VJ, with a sell on clause.

Closing sentence my opinion based upon what i gathered from snippets. I then put my own understanding on it

Thanks for the info. Puts into perspective how unlikely this deal is to come off. Levy wouldn't pay £70m for a player if Messi himself was up for grabs, particularly after what he's had to say about 'unsustainable spending'.

Martial ain't gonna happen (onions)
Plus there's a bit of me that doesn't want him; given he could've opted for us some time back. Poch is a draw - he should've known that then

Duncan Castle saying Lemar would chose United over Arse & Monaco are ready to accept 60m.
I guess, in a miracle if Levy finds a deal for Martial, United have an option available

Add to that Sessegnon that JJ said was 'looking good'. Makes me pretty sceptical too and makes me wonder if Rose could be sacrificed. Walker has gone for 50 though and we've made 30-40m from Njie, Fazio, Carroll and Bentaleb. We could also raise another 40m by selling Sissoko, GKN and Janssen so we could potentially have raked in around £130m worth of sales.

We have sold for 72m pounds according to transfermarkt. And to raise money from Sissoko and the rest we need someone who wants them. So far it's been loan offers for Sissoko and GKN and 15m for Janssen

All those signings (and potentially Foyth as well) would presumably also mean Wimmer and Janssen being sold as well, which could be another £30-40m.

Yes but when you factor in,

Walker 55m
Rose 55m - if he goes
Wimmer 15m?
Sissoko 20m? Do-able surely

Ok some assumptions there but not a million miles away but what a window if we can do it!

All this talk of we won't pay this or we won't pay that.........I think some of you are missing a crucial point here

If we still had Harry in charge, do you think we'd pay £40m for Sanchez...........we wouldn't even pay £20m for Suarez!

It's clear to me that Levy finally has a manager he can trust. Obviously that's my opinion but paying £40m for a young CB gives me belief that my opinion is right.

If Poch really believes Martial is what's needed to take us to the next level, I have a feeling that Levy would back him. At this point we don't even know what Poch's stance is on Martial or if he's even given him a second thought

Then we have the selling club. Man U don't need to sell

Love the discussion, love the optimism but either way, we mortal fans have no clue what's going on at the club........no disrespect intended to any of the ITK guys (y)

Forgot Wimmer in my calculations actually. Adds another 15/20m to the pot but Foyth also looks like it could happen.

Come on people, this is one of those "we really tried but ran out of time/couldn't get it over the line" stories just waiting to be told the day after deadline.

Carroll, Fazio, Bentaleb, Njie & Siggy sell-on fee = another £35m in the pot.
