Let's be fair, his recent performances haven't been the best, and there is a worry that he may be believing in his own hype a bit, but he's a fantastic young talent that almost every team in Europe would want in their team. Just needs to keep his feet on the ground and will just get better.
Some of the comments from our "fans" are just mind blowing.

He's having a slow start to the season again. I remember seeing the same comments about dropping him last season, then he exploded into life and was winning us matches and scoring vital goals.

To me it seems to be a fitness thing, I dont think he's up to the level of the others at the moment. Probably due to being young and partying too hard on his holidays.

One??? His overall game has been shit since he came. There is nothing special about him. Son for example is ten classes above him.

The clumsiest player in a number ten-position in the whole league.
...who'll no doubt score a fair few clumsy goals, and rack up a whole load of clumsy key assists as the season progresses. I guess that's why oppo defences hate defending against him...he's just too clumsy!

Dele is deluded if he thinks he's anywhere near the quality of Madrid and Barca at the moment. his control and first touch at times are absolutely shocking.

Too much praise not enough constructive criticism on his footballing performances. He should have been taken off yesterday instead of Son who was a threat...

Dele needs to learn from Kane about how to contribute to the team even when your not in your best form.

I took a friend to the game yesterday who had never seen him play live. His opinion after the game was 'the most frustrating player on the pitch'

He's a class act and the best youngster in Europe imo, but obviously has plenty to work on.
Wish he'd keep it simple when 60 yards from goal, yet it's still attempted nutmegs and trying to drift past 3 players before falling over and demanding a free kick. It'll come in time hopefully.

Young player out of form and struggling to have an impact shock horror.

Nothing to see here, he's playing badly and making poor in game decisions, most probably because he's desperate to turn it around as he's aware he's off form. He'll be fine.

Should have moved to a deeper position yesterday, needed someone with skill and speed to bring forward from deep and look for quick one twos, lay offs etc
There were too many players looking to occupy same space, which was part of problem with Son at lwb.

Yes dele isn't at his best ATM, but the fact he's still our joint top scorer in the league surely shows just how good he is

He wasn't even that bad yesterday, no worse than eriksen

He was frustrating to watch yesterday, but he's one of those players. He can go from doing too many step overs on the edge of the box, to ghosting in and scoring a vital goal. Dele definitely has "it" understandably I think people get a little frustrated when "it" doesn't shine through every game though.

At the moment I think he loses the ball too often to play deeper and run at the opposition.

Really? This is not the first time Dele has been horrible. He is a luxury player at the best of times but when an XI is chosen such as today, one with multiple passengers, his limitations become more glaring.

We were treated to a display of what a real young footballer looks like on Wednesday. I think that most would agree that if we had Pulisic on the left today instead of Dele we would have troubled Swansea a ton more. And for all of Dele's qualities if we put any good technical forward in his position with the chances we create as a team they would probably have scored double what he has as they wouldn't spurn half the easy chances that he does. Moreover, they would actually be able to take the half chances that he cannot because he cannot properly kick a f*cking ball, cannot control a f*cking ball, cannot utilize his left foot, and cannot beat a f*cking man except to nutmeg them which isn't really beating a man.

In the first half Dele was presented with a beautiful chance to create something by one of the few positive things Trips did all day. Trips passed from the right to find Dele in space at the 'D'. It took him 4 touches to control the ball, get it out of his feet, and then touch it to move it forward a bit so he could hit the shot. It was blocked of course. You do not get 4 touches at the 'D'. People say we play slow well this is why we play slow. Our players lack technical ability. Receiving at the 'D' is 1 touch and then pass or shoot.

As I intimated in the Dortmund match thread it is a good thing when Dele is missing because it frees up our play. He is a selection headache for a coach. To suffer his 89 minutes of bumbling on the off chance that he may do something positive has got to be difficult for Poch. Give me Pulisic, Draxler or any technically able player any day of the week over a passenger that may score a goal.

You may be right but he was wasted where he was yesterday - no speed on pasees for flicks + turns - so he tries tricks and loses ball.
Was a game made for a fit Winks from midfield

Luxury players do not consistently score double figures in the league. As our ex manager famously said, it is the bad players who are a luxury.

Not sure how to respond to the second paragraph. Alli has scored amazing goals on numerous ccasions. Ask most fans if they'd prefer Pulisic or Alli, most would go with Alli.

Third paragraph is a ridiculous exaggeration and why people can't take your post seriously.

We scored the most in the league last season. Eriksen and Son have good technical ability and Alli and kane are great goalscorers. It is that mix that helpedus perform so well and why teams and parking the bus so much against us this season.

personally i think he needs to get rid of the "drag drag drag" habit to truly become world class.

that move kills our momentum way too often, and he tries it even when there is no way through.

he needs to learn to be incisive, which was ironically there when he first exploded into scene playing alongside dier
