This has nothing to do with that. We play like this EVERY time we play someone outside the top 7 at home.

Poch needs to change things for these games or we will be left behind this season.
Really?
Did you not see our performances against Watford, Bournemouth, Stoke, WBA and countless others last season?

We really need to be more unpredictable. Someone needs to have the mettle to carry the ball into their box and try and create a bit of havoc. It's no use passing sideways waiting for an opening. Sometimes you have to make them yourselves.

Eriksen has been fucking dreadful. Poor touches and average passes left right and centre from him. That is the worst half of football he has played in a long time.

Sanchez looks really poor in a back 4, both defensively and with the increased responsibility on the ball. I think Vertonghen and Toby have carried him a bit this season.

Dele the only one of our attacking players playing reasonably well, but that back heel attempt at goal was poor.

Same old, same old so far. Not looking forward to next Sunday right now.
Funnily enough we'll probably create more against Liverpool. Problem is we can't press anywhere near as well so it's difficult to catch opponents out shape wise like we could do at WHL.

Really pathetic half of football that was. Usual caveat of it not being easy against park the bus teams blah blah blah but there's been no energy, no urgency, just going through the motions and some don't look interested at all.

We really aren't learning our lessons at Wembley. One we have to move the ball quicker at a minimum of touches, and as a unit we have to step 10 yards higher up the pitch - even if that does increase the risk. We're too deep and a million miles away from their goal with our play.

Got to be better after the break........

Wish I could say we'll be better in the second half but Swansea and Burnley have shown that's not true.

The football is slow and stupidly predictable, I hate watching it, it's why I don't watch England international games anymore.
If you play against us with the intention of it being 0-0 there's a real great chance you'll get that result as were super easy to defend against if you're only goal is to defend for 90 .

Agree on the line, wasn't this a reason why we signed Davinson?

We play exactly like England do. It's not a good thing.

Look how much Liverpool struggled today against a team with no interest in playing football. We arent the only team who plays this way.
Pool create many very good chances. We have created diddley.

Last season isn’t this season. Whatever we were doing last season isn’t working this season.

If it was, we’d havd at least two Home wins, maybe three.

Genuinely hard to watch at points this match. Our tempo is painful at points and we seem scared to try those passes that we executed with clinical precision last year. Then again when we do them the opposing team is always there to cut them out or the ball bounces out of play. Not sure Poch has the personnel on the bench to change it up unless he brings on Sissoko for pace or Llorente and changes up the system.
