This really isn';t about Wembley, we've seen this game a thousand times before, at WHL and other places not just in games involving us. Team sits deep, two banks, works hard and no matter how good the offensive team is, it's very hard to play forward, incisive passes into congested, compressed areas.

It is of course exacerbated by us being a bit deliberate from certain areas, Dier is oh so careful with every pass he makes, so is Dembele when he's around and Wanyama is limited, Winks you can see has the slight glint of ambition in his eye, but he's a kid having his 5th start, and I'm not sure he's ever going to Modric either.

Then on the odd occasion you do get breaks you need to be more decisive or .....get the break, and that just doesn't seem to happening in these home games like it has away, just rub and luck in many of those away games has been the difference, and if you get it early it changes everything.

Jeez. Getting sick of watching teams play with 11 behind the ball and still create more than us.

As a side note the sky sports app commentary completely misrepresents the game I'm watching. Quelle surprise.

Much easier to create on the break. I'm relatively confident we will win.

How can a stadium make such a difference? We completely ripped apart teams that tried to sit back against us last season. It's still just a football pitch, I don't get it.

I think it's the atmosphere more than anything. If we don't score early, it makes it easy for the opposition to get their confidence up, and easy for our players to lose confidence. The crowd are getting more and more impatient the longer this barren run continues, which doesn't help either.

we know the opponents are going to sit back and counter us but still we play the same shitty way, no movement or tempo, everyone drops off, nobody attempts to beat a man, nobody looking for quick one twos or looking to create. very poor from us, no idea where son is playing but he isn't in the game. system isn't working. Its like watching England, especially with what dier in midfield offers offensively.

MUCH better, fantastic start to the second half, Poch must have dug them out at half time and told them to move the ball quicker. COYS.

*Edit* And now Eriksen has scored, GET IN!
