Wilshere is a bellend but he's pretty much the only player they have who cares whether they win or lose. Can't fault him for that.

He's no way as good as winks though when he plays.

Just back from the game and read through the thread, boy some of you had it bad by the end!:)
As for the game, we just carried on where we left off against Man Utd and Liverpool, they were playing at their max in the first half just to keep us at bay and they couldn't keep it up after half time, we were just head and shoulders above them.
Everybody played their part sonny ran out of steam by the time he went off but still put in a shift.
Top billing though surely has to go to Dembele, he was imperious again today and its no coincidence that these last three big games have been his best performances this season, they were closing him down two at a time but to no avail he was just shrugging them off and second half they couldn't get near him.
1-0 doesn't even begin to tell the story about today, today is the day Arsenal fans will finally get it, I think the truth is really dawning on them now, we haven't just caught them and passed them, we are out of sight now, just a different class.
I was cold, I got rained on, I got wet feet and I got caught in crawling traffic on the north circular on the way home but I smiled all through it, I am so proud of my team tonight.

I haven't been that cold at a game since Fulham away a few years ago. It was horrible today. Glad we got the deserved win.

Someone needs to correct Jason Mohammed on 606 about us not being in a final under Pochettino. We were in the final of the League Cup.

Agree with your second sentence. Teams seem to be trying to close us down, pressurise us, stop us playing....but they run out of steam. We are fitter and in better control of the ball. During the second half the opposition wilts and we get stronger. What Son achieved was to run the sap out of their legs - makes way, but he as had a real impact. They are knackered.

My daughter had a grade 2 brain haemorrhage, being born extremely prematurely. At around a 9-12months her physio thought she had palsy due to her movements, it was crushing even just for her to be suspected (she didn't thankfully).

So, with just a passing contact with the implications of your words, I'm quite able to say you are talking utter, hate filled, shit.

But he's GOT TO go to the world cup.
He's just GOT TO.
He's fantastic.
It would be MADNESS to not take him, MADNESS I tell you.

Never known a more over hyped player in my life.
And a total fkin prick to boot.
I'd take him to Russia...

and fkin leave him there :finger:
I do hope I didn't offend anyone who has ever been left alone, abandoned by a family break up or cast aside by society.
It wasnt my intent to cause offence.
Please forgive me :finger:

I think Dembele and Jan are the 2 most underrated players in the league. Both would make a PL XI in my opinion, but I am pretty sure neither have ever made Team of the Year. I can’t think of a CB anywhere near as good as Jan, the closest is probably Toby.

Highlights what a great day it's been when my only disappointment was that we didn't get to give Moura a run out to do some party tricks in the dying stages.

Off tangent, a family friend (loosely) is an oncologist who sells Thalidomide as a stage 4 Cancer drug to third world countries where it is not banned. Apparently it's still one of the biggest selling drugs worldwide, madness.

Feel very awkward talking to him, with my views on things.

He thinks it's fine, me not so much.

Finally back home from watching the game with the boy! His record so far as a Spurs fan:

Bournemouth w 1-0
Liverpool w 4 - 1
Madrid w 2 - 0
Man Utd w 2 - 0
Arsenal w 1 - 0

He has no idea why I always expect us to blow it in the last 10 mins haga! Good to see Dembele back to his best! My norm today!
