Bournemouth w 1-0
Liverpool w 4 - 1
Madrid w 2 - 0
Man Utd w 2 - 0
Arsenal w 1 - 0

He has no idea why I always expect us to blow it in the last 10 mins haga! Good to see Dembele back to his best! My norm today!

I was sat in my seat shitting bricks after that freekick was awarded. Felt sick. So glad they fluffed it. They didnt deserve anything but on another day we'd have maybe blown it. We've got to be more clinical in front of goal and put these games to bed when we can. Can't keep missing chances, we'll inevitably be punished for it.

Highlights what a great day it's been when my only disappointment was that we didn't get to give Moura a run out to do some party tricks in the dying stages.
The highlight of the match came at the end with Erik grinning having wound Wilshere round the bend by calling him a "pussy".

Great article - I loved this sentence!

"During those periods Wilshere versus Dembélé was a fine battle, even if at times the Arsenal man resembled an entirely different species altogether, a chipmunk wrestling with a grizzly bear"

Just imagine if he turns out to be fairly decent.

Just got home from what was an amazing day at Wembley, my boys first NLD and he loved it!!! Everyone in that team was awesome today. Didn’t give the goo era a sniff until the 93 rd min. My heart was in my mouth. The whole team done us proud today for me Moussa Dembele was head and heels above everyone today followed in by Harry and Ben Davies let’s keep in going now in midweek against Juve have a good weekend everyone and up the mighty Spurs.

Off tangent, a family friend (loosely) is an oncologist who sells Thalidomide as a stage 4 Cancer drug to third world countries where it is not banned. Apparently it's still one of the biggest selling drugs worldwide, madness.

Feel very awkward talking to him, with my views on things.

He thinks it's fine, me not so much.
Err... I fked up.
I'm putting it down to being alcoholically compromised but I actually missed the post with the word you're all getting said panties in a bunch about.
I thought you were all upset over calling him wheelchair (n)
Was bit out of order and unnecessary but not gonna lose sleep over it.
My mother in law is mentally disabled but I'm not gonna tell you I never use that word to describe others or myself for that matter. On a public forum though I would say no, not for me Clive.

Just goes to show some people in here are pissed. Please bare that in mind :ROFLMAO:

Just got back home and watched the game. I had a bad feeling during the last 10 minutes and my heart sank when Lacazette had that chance. What a great win. Should have have 4-0 though.

There were numerous times when Arsenal players would basically give Dembele "the right of way." They knew it wasn't worth it even trying to get the ball off him.

What a fantastic ten days it's been. After the disappointment at Southampton followed by the apathy following Newport many of us - let alone outsiders - would have looked at the fixture list with a sigh. This was like a run-in.

In any run-in you need to show character and rise to the challenge and we sure did. We still have one more big hurdle to climb on Tuesday night but this could be the coming of age of this group of players.

We know the players can turn on the style when they're on it but in the last ten days we have done so because we needed it. That's the bigger picture. We could have been buried in terms of the top four and that negativity I would guess would have damaged morale and probably see us stumble to the end of the season. Instead we now have the top four in our own hands again and the positivity from these performances should carry through.

The manner of which we have played is fantastic. We have played aggressive, quick and stylish football. We have been brave and kept a high line because we want to impose ourselves on the opponent. We have got in their faces and bullied them. When you perform at such a high level then then this creates a fear factor. Go back last season when we ended the last three months or so of the season with 12 league wins out of 13 scoring a rack full of goals. Teams couldn't deal with us and that's the level we should emulate now. Suddenly our squad depth looks good again as for once we have a healthy squad. Lucas Moura, Rose and Aurier were unused subs. Alderweireld and Winks were not involved. They've all got a tough ask to get back in the team because who do you drop? That's a credit to the players out there who have been wonderful in the past three games. That's what we've wanted for a long time - competition for places - and that's what we have now.

As someone who first stood on the WHL terraces from 1966 and attended in excess of 500 live matches up and down the country and Europe I find some of the comments offensive, perturbing and "Nineteensixtiesist"

It's cool, wasn't upset, just relating why some might get pretty upset, especially anyone with such conditions.

I also say the wrong things, sometimes you need to face what you say (as you have).
