Sure if that's true I'll give credit for that. I'm not saying there aren't transfers that we've done well. Just that the ones we've failed on tend to have a similar pattern typically involving the tendencies of one Daniel Phillip Levy.

A week ago there weren't several parties involved. Imo that was the time to put in the serious offer and get it done. If we disagree on that then fair enough.
If we'd have put a bid in a week ago, Bayern would've jumped in then.
It's not like they've only just heard of the lad, it's likely they've been monitoring him and his situation for a while.
And then you have to factor in that his agent is doing what he's paid to do, drum up interest in his client.

It's not like we could've thrown a bid in on the 1st and got him signed before anyone else realised what was happening.
Football, agents and clubs don't work like that most of the time

Not an easy decision for him, I imagine. Bayern is clearly the more glamorous, prestigious option. But the Premier League has more prestige than the Bundesliga. And the fact we’ve been pushing this deal for longer might weigh in our favour and make him feel more welcome here. But is that enough when you can play for a team that can win the Champions League this season?
We might hold onto the fact he's already played for a 'superclub' and got loaned out a lot and sold for not very much money, albeit at a younger age. Can now see Deki and Bentancur getting the love as well.

Not too fussed either way. If we bid and had it accepted, but then Bayern come in and match that, then we did all we could. Just got to live with it. We move on one way or another. I’d like to have seen us sign him, but ultimately there are others out there, no great drama.

FWIW, I actually think being 4th choice at Bayern may not be as hugely appealing over us as you might think. Coming to compete as part of 3 CB’s in the most competitive league in the world, and with us having some former Juve teammates, maybe might swing it.

Despite those in the know literally spelling out that the length of time this deal has taken is absolutely nothing to do from our side, I don’t get how you can form an opinion like this. Past performance isn’t an indicator of future earnings. And you have to hold your criticism when it’s unwarranted.

Any player who speaks to Ange and Tuchel and chooses to work for Tuchel hasn’t got his head screwed on right.

Lucky escape if he makes the wrong choice.

The film is titled Dragusin’s decision:

Her options are:
Choose Tottenham:
-Big love from Big Ange
-Sent her love letters first
-2 of her ex Juve soriority girls are at Tottenham
-Premier League / London life
-Slightly more game time / effort/dates
-Tottenham have courted her for longer, she feels wanted

OR
Choose Ze Bayern German boys:
-Ze big strong muscly German bad boys rock up on their motorcycles, are taller, better looking, have more money and get what they want.

We all know the ending, Dragusin is choosing Ze German boys isn’t she.
