Can we get the Liverpool supporters to start a petition to make this year's EFL Cup semis a single leg? I'd actually sign this one.

Saw the result and thought they were out, but now see it’s over 2 legs. Either way, not entirely sure Poch is smashing it this season.

Fantastic, looks like it was almost a first choice XI they put out as well.
So hope Boro can hold on in the second leg as that lot don’t deserve to be anywhere near a cup final.

This Chelsea team reminded of our Ginola team in the late 90’s. They seem relevant on Palmer producing something and have no ideas if he doesn’t.

Would like to formally apologise to Levy for my messages/songs/anthrax letters I sent asking for Poch's return, because whilst it might've worked, goodness me we're in a much better place.

They need to ditch that. 1 leg at Wembley and on to the final.
Not at Wembley. Bring back the neutral venues all over the country. Make Chelsea v Boro play at e.g. Leicester or Villa Park.

Semi finals at Wembley devalue Wembley as an experience so much. They should ditch it from the FA Cup too

If you're in a lower division with almost no opportunity to play at Wembley, but have a good cup run then I think it's fair dos really.

Lower division teams have the opportunity to play at Wembley through the EFL Cup and Play-Offs.

In any case, having the semi finals at Wembley just because occasionally a lower division team makes it to the semis and it’s a nice day out for them, is not a good reason imo. If we play the quarters there too, the smaller teams will have even more of a chance of playing there.

Not against big draw teams though.

Honestly, Fulham v. Boro final would be better for the League Cup and football in general, than Liverpool Chelsea.
Yep. I at least remember the Swansea v Bradford final far better than I remember any of the finals City have won (except the one against us). And I couldn't tell you who was in it last season without googling.

The Fulham LB Robinson looks a real prospect. Think someone mentioned elsewhere we were watching him? Hope we are.
