Fair mate. So would you start Gil against City over Johnson… I’d still rather start Johnson for his pace and stretching teams personally, but agree not his best game today.
It's a tough one. Ideally neither lol. Our wide forwards are kind of killing us, especially down the right. I think we need a proper long term solution to that area of the pitch.
But I'd start Johnson there over gill to exploit the space city leave. He should, in theory, be able to get in behind their defense

Great points from Keane there don’t dive in and run across, I see Skipp do this so often, I know he’s a high energy player but you don’t see Bissouma, Sarr, Bentancur etc getting turned so easily and as Roy Keane says part of that is just the ability to slow down and read the play.

You can't sniff at a point at Old Trafford without 4 key players regardless of how poor United are these days.

Good performance all around, once we have the likes of Deki, Maddison and Sarr back we'll be purring.

Just got reminded Kulu should be back :) unless we play him at 8 and start Johnson then bring Gil or Skipp/PEH on later in the game.

Also, why does everyone on United look like they’ve been giving each other haircuts?
Noticed Varane's was particularly awful. There's a Turkish barbers near me which stinks of weed and everyone actively avoids, I'm not unconvinced Varane didn't pay it a visit this week.

I felt a bit sorry for Hojland up until today. Now I think he’s a spotty little **** and I hope he never scores again.

Think there's something in the water round that way that changes you into a greeting faced dickhead after a wee while.

We finally are looking dangerous on Porro corners! Eriksen corners still haunts me.

Well, I wasn't saying he had a blinder now was I?

So there's every fucking need. He was poor, he was NOT 'shocking'. That's a lazy use of the word.

Exactly the point you were making the other day about the use of the word shocking. He was not shocking, he wasn’t great but had shown he is a good player so far for us and is young and will get better.

Apparently first point from Old Trafford since 2020. Not the best performance, but what can you do if half of starting eleven is missing. City ain't ready for us in a couple of weeks time.

That's only 3 games ago. 3-2 and a 2-0 since the 6-1 mauling we gave them.

Just taking stock, away against Manchester United with important players still out, debutants, our CB's first game back together after a few months and we're disappointed to be coming away with a draw!
We've come a long way in a short time.

Johnson plays and is odds on to have a blinder after the stick he's copped on here today. And I'm included in that 😀
