Exactly. Like I said there is probably a good bet he was offered to them, along with numerous other clubs, but thats about it. There is absolutely zero logic in the link and its not firm interest even if it is true. Not worth giving it a seconds thought IMO.

Even if Newcastle are in for him it doesnt look like a situation where they are going all in for him and will show him that.

Similar to when Bayern came for Dragusin. My hope and belief was always that the lad had really been turned by how much we wanted him whereas Bayern came in late and didnt really sell it.

Dragusin confirmed that.

I reckon we have done the same here. Really convinced the player.

Teams like Newcastle will have to work twice as hard to sell it to him

Great news re: Newcastle. Means the deal is close.

Despite the transfer rumour journalistic nonsense on the surface, I'm more interested in What Lies Beneath, so to speak
