I think he looked promising tonight and maybe could've bring something into game but for some reason they didn't involve him very much?
Yep, 4 or 5 times first half we could have released him and didn't. Disappointed but City were keeping the ball really well when Madders came on and we couldn't really get either of them in the game because of that.

Timo let down by his team mates tonight, can't do much more great runs than that.
Absolutely! Peeled off Walker constantly. Not his fault that none of our players seems willing to try a through ball or even a hoof over that way.

Our best performer tonight. More like that for the rest of the season and he will be big for us.
Best performer is a bit much. Vdv, udogie and PEH were all better imo. But werner was definitely our best attacker, just a shame our players didn't utilise him properly.

Yeah he missed the creativity central but also Johnson a bit wasteful getting balls in far post. He uses the ball well and makes good runs. Look forward to see him against Brentford and hopefully with Maddison.

PEH nearly gifted them 2 goals, and as fab as Udogie was from a competitive point of view, he in particular missed some great chances to play in Werner. Hopefully with time they can build some chemistry down that left side though...

Twitter guy chose the hate, but from a Werner perspective some really encouraging runs.

Once his teammates start finding him he will get himself some serious chances.

It’s not clicking for him yet imo, but he’s showing why we’ve put faith in him to get him in on loan. Once he gels with the other players he could be very very effective.

He made some great runs and the few times we played him in behind early he was like an arrow at their defence. You can see he backs himself when going at opponents. Hopefully that will rub off on Johnson too.

I really think Maddison returning and making the right passes at the right times will massively help Werner and Johnson.
The timing and weight of the passes is so important and with our rusty midfield it was never going to be consistent yesterday. Looking forward to Werner gelling with the team - he looks like he'll be a serious nuisance down his flank. Made some intelligent challenges and interceptions in our defensive third also.

Chose the hate? What do you mean?
