Well thats a huge turn around from what we had heard. Im surprised we arent willing to match the price considering its not even that much in todays market.

Very disappointing as we also seemingly didnt pursue Vermereen.

From the guy who initially reported:

The English #BrentfordFC joins the battle for Nusa. The offer is currently insufficient and lower than what #THFC in particular wants to pay - an amount that is now approaching 35 million euros. Also #NUFC is gradually becoming concrete for the Norwegian @hlnsport @ClubBrugge 🇳🇴⏳

Their offer will be less because they are happy for him to stay till the summer

How has it gone for Fati at Brighton? There's no guarantee, things don't always work out.
Fati was always a huge risk for whoever got him due to his injury record and that's exactly what's happened at Brighton. When fit he did well though and scored a few goals but is injured again.

At least it's given the numpties something to crawl out from under their rocks to moan about and give the normal fans and easy block list on all the sites.

I mean ultimately you cant blame the lad for choosing an arguably much better place to adapt and progress his career at Brentford. Lets not pretend they're some mugs, this is their model same as Brighton and they have a fantastic development coach in Thomas Frank.
Who are all the Brentford players who have developed into world stars under Frank and left for huge clubs?

So people are already saying he's chosen them over us. No they wanted more money than we've been prepared to pay (or at least so far). Brentford are paying up and that's the end of it. Same with Ansu, we didn't agree the deal with Barca with no buy back but Brighton did.

To be fair anything over 25m is a lot for an unknown from a weak league. Look at some of the great deals we've made of late. We can get Werner in his peak for 15m. We already have a lot of youth prospects anyway. So if we spend the money on someone more established like another Kulusevski we'll be fine.

Strange that Romano said it was accepted but this guy say it’s too low. Not often Romano gets this wrong.

I’m sorry right now this ain’t positive reminds me of fati last year haha that scarred me 😂 if i get anymore news I will share.
It's not you. Unfortunately, more and more people of all ages are outsourcing their emotional regulation, ie. a belief that it's not their job to keep their emotions in-check/consistent, it is the job of others (in this case, you) to not expose them to information that triggers a strong reaction.
A gentle reminder in case of meltdown.

Something still feels weird here…

anyway, Matias Soule deal from Juventus to Saudi is off, apparently he’s available for around the same fee as Nusa

No it’s not Romano Brugge fed this out this morning . Something odd is going on with Brugge right now they have told us one thing but the agent has now told us another 🤷‍♀️

Let’s see how he does at Brentford. Personally not convinced, even watching the last two sub appearances nothing jumped out raw attribute wise. Just looked like a young kid with reasonable pace, but slight frame, didn’t look particularly two footed. Maybe the club thought 30 didn’t add up.

Dont think we should be too upset. Plenty of talent emerges all the time.

And Nusa would have needed a lot of time to adapt/improve.

He hasnt even been a regular starter for Brugges so he is far from the finished article.

Brentford would be a good club to go to for him and us (if we maintain an interest).

They are likely to be relegated in the coming years and Nusa can develop well there.

If we are still interested later and he becomes a serious player then perhaps we can afford a big signing like that and we wont need to have developed him.
