For the same reason Dragusin came. Braithwaite is 21, plenty of time to grow and scope to grow.

Very different getting a young Romanian cb to come from a small Italian club to a big prem club than it is an English cb to move when he’d likely be 3-4th choice. Especially as some big clubs need cbs like United.

If we were winning tin pots consistently then Branthwaite might consider it, but no chance he comes to sit behind VdV, and no chance we spend £50m+ on him with other squad areas to sort out.

He has mentioned a CB, CM and forward potentially winger.

Would imagine the CB would be able to cover LB? Maybe Calafiori he plays both.

I agree with the GK but we did re sign Forster so that will be interesting.

Imagine we will get rid of a number in the summer again. Lo Celso, Gil, Sess and PEH will all move on I think.

I’d keep him personally. He adds value yes his fitness isn’t great but he’s not on big wages

When he gets fit, if he can stay fit for the reminder of the season I’d keep him. Skill wise he’s more than good enough it’s just his injury issues. Tbh I’m more concerned about Solomon at this point in time.

Yeah I think we will look for a Sarr alternative.

Bergvall, Bissouma and Bentancur has the 6 role fulfilled and even a combination of 6 & 8.

But if we want to have fresh legs as much as possible, then we need someone who can do similar to Sarr.

Winger, LB alternative and another CB I reckon.

This summer is our last chance to get a fee for him. Has to be sold imo, and I rate him. Just don’t think his injury record can be ignored anymore, and if someone offers actual money for him we should snatch their hand off. No matter how low the fee is.

I still think we‘ll try and get Gallagher. Especially if we move PEH on. Between him, Sarr, Bentancur, Bissouma and Bergvall we’d have 6&8 covered I think.

Shift GLC and look at Maddison cover, or trust Devine and Donley to develop.

He's been doing these sort of exercises with the same coach (Kisfaludy) since he was 9 years old.

That coach has become quite well-known in Sweden because of his unprecedented success with the youth team that Lucas captained. He's been writing books, being on podcasts and has a youtube channel with football exercises that features Lucas from when he was 12.

He has coached Kulusevski and Nilden from our Women's team as well.

I think he’s probably going to be the best player in the world. Admittedly I have had this feeling about Tom Carrol Harry Winks, Nabil Bentaleb and Dele Ali but I’ve got a good feeling about this one.

Think he keeps getting brought back too early and aggravating the same problem as Palace are desperate for points, same with Eze.

Am I right in thinking Bergvall will eventually count as HG for both club and nation for PL and UEFA rules?

Season 24/25 and 25/26
Euro competition shall be registered in List A (17 players max)

season 26/27
Euro can be registered in list B

season 27/28
Euro can be registered in list B and got club trained quota

premier can be registered under u21 during season 24/25 until 27/28

season 28/29
Euro can be registered with Club trained quota also HG quota for premier

note during 24/25 until 26/27
He shall be playing with us and can’t loan out.
