I wonder about Jeremie Frimpong as a right forward option. He's a wingback but I think easily skilled enough to play as a forward, can press better than someone like Neto, plus kills two birds with one stone in that he could be better cover as RB if Porro was out (I think he could play the inverted role better than Royal).

I'd rather buy a round peg for a round hole

He's very highly rated by Juve, i'm not convinced they will be looking to sell him come summer if he continues to impress on loan. It's true they need money but I think they will sell others like Soule and maybe even Chiesa considering his contract situation before selling Huijsen.
We'd benefit from both.

A cheeky bid for Grealish?

Slightly improved version to the one we offered Villa a while back.

I know this was probably more a joke but ether way he's on 300k p/w. Which is insane. Everything about his transfer to City was crazy really.

Would our targets depend on where we finish this season and what European competition we’re in should we qualify for one?

Not much scouting going on for a "scouting thread". Most people just making a wish list of names we've been linked to in the media. :D

We already had a scouting thread anyway. It's called "Follow Ghost Hardware".

Here is one we should be watching, Abdul Fatawu of Leicester.

He is a 19 year old left footed RW and he's been doing really well for Leicester this season. He has 3 goals and 9 assists in 22 league starts and he scored a worldy to win Leicester the FA cup match against Bournemouth last night.

Pol Fernandez? Much as I'd like to see a new Boca player come to Tottenham, I can't see Ange seeing him fit his system, although Boca do play very differently to us so you never know. He was only 21 until he was 22 last October, by the way, and his contract runs out at the end of the calendar year, so that will definitely help keep the price down. He has recently been linked with a couple of Brazilian clubs, and I reckon that's more his level than even back up here, but would love to be wrong.

I'd certainly prefer this Pol to the Cambodian one

Can’t see them selling, they’ll be aiming to do more than stay up next year imo.

Leicester have a 17 mil option on him that turns into an obligation if they get promoted, he's currently on loan from Sporting, so If they buy him (which i would say is very likely as they will likely get promoted) I very much doubt they would turn around and sell him straight away and if they did they would want a lot more then the 17 mil they would of just payed. Looks an exciting talent tho but I would be very surprised if he moves this summer.

Watched the Liverpool v Southampton match last night, and Southampton had three young forwards playing called Sulemana, Mara and Edozie. It's the first time I have seen them, they ran Liverpool ragged in the first half and they are look very promising prospects in my opinion

Not that he is a particularly hidden gem and has been mentioned on here quite a bit but personally I think Archie Grey should be one of the very top names on our list come summer. I know it would be extremely hard to do as he is so incredibly highly rated, has a contract until 2028 and many big teams are tracking him but he looks like a world class talent in the making. Every time i see him I am honestly gobsmacked he's only 17. And if we somehow managed to snag Bergvall then who knows. Grey I think would be perfect for the DM role in our system long term but he would also be able to cover CM and RB considering he has actually played there most this season. His versatility is incredible. Fast, very good running with the ball, calm collecting the ball under pressure, good vision, good at reading the game, good in the tackle... i mean he pretty much has it all. Obv that being said he is still raw and needs development but the natural ability is incredible. Like @djhotspur pointed out in the Gallagher thread he was the best CM on the pitch in the game against Chelsea last night.

Like I said, not a new name, he has been mentioned several times here but after last nights impressive performance its worth just reiterating the point. I would really love for us to try and get him. Maybe we could try and work Rodon into the deal. Would be difficult and potentially expensive but would fit our system perfectly I feel.

Edit: adding a youtube highlights vid for anyone who hasn't seen him

Given his age, and Leeds potential return to the PL…. A buy with a one year loan back could also be an interesting option too.
