Really hate when people on here start dismissing any criticism as 'bed wetting' or other childish drivel if and when we are able to turn it around.

I'm delighted we've got the win.

I think the players deserve praise for the resilience and Ange's first sub seemed to spark us into life.

All things to be very happy about together with a hugely important 3 points.

Doesn't mean that there aren't some very valid criticisms and concerns after this performance.

We happily take the 3 points today but there is clearly something not quite right even though we now have the majority of our players back.

Johnson has earned a start now imo. Hope this will be a confidence boost for him.

Lessons hopefully learned:
1. Don't wait until about the 75th minute before you start playing football
2. You need to earn it to wear that shirt and badge, I'd rather see a youth player fight and try his creative best for 90 minutes and have an absolute mare than watch a player e.g. Bissouma cruise around barely breaking sweat
Other lessons learnt.

Keep going and never stop.

It isn't easy playing against a low block and sometimes you need patience and then a bit of forcefulness

Much better second half.

Bissouma so much better.

The score looks like a comfortable win but it really hasn't been. Far too many below far performances especially in that first half. Knowhere near good enough.

As for Ange he gets my first bit of critism from me.

Why is Sarr not starting here? He should start EVERY game for us he's that important. Bentancur has to be benched to ease his way back into form.

Same goes for Kulu. He's way too below par to be affecting games out there.

2 weeks and these wingers are still struggling.

Wonderful manager and I'm.fully behind him but he's got to sort out these performances.

COYS.

I criticise them because they go way OTT with it.

"Disgraceful"
"Pathetic"

Attacking Johnson.etc etc

It's really grating to see and they deserve all the flack they get

Agreed. Again i can only chalk it up to all of our injuries has lead to a massively stop start season. Only player to come back reinvigorated from his lay off was mickey.

For me VDV is only player to have maintained his superb form throughout the season (Sarr perhaps?). The drop off from others is the reason we've been soiling ourselves in games like this.

Ange needs to give the HT team talk before KO next time.

I've solved this issue I think you'll agree.

Hate when we bring on a young striker then proceed to spend 10 minutes playing it safe and refusing to attack.

Hope fully Ange can see the difference for example between those who actually press properly (like Liverpool) and those who just go through the motions.

I'd very much like it if we banned the word "bedwetter" on here.

Yeah I remember one of the staples of Ferguson’s great United teams was they kept going to the last minute. That was mainly where the whole concept of “Fergie Time” came from, because teams knew that United would keep going until the end, Fergie’s best teams never accepted they were defeated.
