It's a weird one because we know they were aware of something because Radu was vigorously warming up at half time but, if it was a hamstring, there's no way they'd send Micky back out to see how he got on. That's something you do with, say, a knock.

Of course, they could've been monitoring something and then he tweaked his hamstring completely independently of that but it seems like all we've got to go on is the fact that he momentarily touched the back of his leg before the medical staff came on and someone on here claiming that they spoke to him and he told them it was a hamstring injury (or something?).

Thought he'd done his hammy? If not, then that is great news........although, I have to admit I am looking forward to Dragusin getting a few games!

Good that it's not serious but surely there is 'fatigue' to take into account, assuming it's hamstring again.

I get that he's been amazing all season and slotted back in seamlessly since his lay-off but his injury was a severe one and given the pressure we put on him in terms of recovery sprints, we need to be careful.

I'm sure Ange was giving Dragusin plenty of time to get used to a new club, team-mates and playing style but hopefully he plays well tomorrow as I'd like to see Micky 'managed' over the remainder of the season.

In all honesty could have just taken him off at half time rather than risk it. Now we have Dragusin we can just be more cautious. We need to protect players better, if they feel something don't chance it. Hopefully the squad build will be complete in the summer so we can just bring players off knowing we have quality to come on.

We took him off and spared the injury worsening... what more could the staff have done? On this occasion the club or medical staff are exempt from blame. I'd say it was well handled all things considering.
