Is he that good? I've been disappointed every time I watch him.
I think if you'd put him as an Ange inverted left back he'd be amazing. He has a perfect skillset for that role, much like Udogie. And he plays further forward for Canada as he's by far their biggest star so can't influence as well from LB.

He'll go to Madrid this summer, Bayern won't hold on for another year and lose him for free according to German media.

Interesting that he says he'd move to Madrid, it'd be a hell of a commute to whichever mid-table club signed him.

Does he realise this is probably putting some clubs off of signing him.

The disrespect from this guy. They rolled the red carpet out for him on his return and he’s completely mugging them off. Never forget the “Fuck Brentford” video. Might be a good player but seems like a complete arsehole.

Shame, if it wasn’t for his character he’d actually be an almost perfect fit for the profile of striker we need under Ange.

I really wish we would have more eyes in the South American market. I know we got Veliz but still.
I think we finally do but Chelsea much more established network unfortunately.

Might mean Guilherme off the table though as he's heavily linked to Liverpool but these are 100% the type of signings i'd advocate us signing above all others.

And they like Wesley Gassova, would take ether of those two very happily indeed.

@rossdapep this is so fucking depressing. Why does nobody else come in for him, I don’t get it. And why would any young player want to go there. “Chelsea are confident of completing the transfer.”

Boehly has made a habit of leaking their confidence in wonderkid signings ever since he took over. Not sure any of them have actually happened yet.

Also believe that the PL is yet to clear their hotel self-sale...

Guess we'll see. 🙏

I think it might just be related to this - made for life on an 8 year deal!

We definitely have competed for South American talent like Vitor Roque but we haven't exactly got consistent pedigree for that initial continental move. In the last decade our South America to Spurs pipeline includes Paulinho, Foyth and Veliz. Think our last success was Sandro back in 2010. Language barrier and culture are challenges, and now not being part of the EU for work permits can't help.

I sincerely hope he doesn't go there.

For our sakes, and maybe his own.

A club shouldn't just be allowed to hoover up all the talent and hope 2 or 3 turn out to be gems.

Problem is Chelsea have a big name here in Brazil. Undeservedly and Corinthians ex-technical academy coach is now scout for Chelsea.

So of course, the way they are run, all they need to do is tap into his knowledge of the u20 bases and hoover them up.

They have signed Deivid Washington, Andre Santos and Angelo - all huge u20 talents, in the hope 1 or 2 turn up golden.

It fucking stinks and the players are being swayed by agents who see this as a huge pay day and chance to see their prospect at a top club.

I hope Estavão's people suggest staying at Palmeiras and holding out for Barca
