Personally think Mbappe will be a disaster at any club that doesn't indulge him.
He’s been a big fish in a small pond at PSG. Still think it remains to be seen if he’s capable in a better league. Is he any better than Salah or Halland for example? I’m not so sure.

Their delusions of grandeur are incredible. Under Arteta they’ve won 1 FA cup and finished 2nd for the first time in 7 years (and only the 3rd time since they won the title 19 years ago!!), that’s it.

The idea they seemingly unironically think they can compete with the greatest team in the world to sign the best player in the world is hilarious. What an embarrassment. Even City aren’t bothering because they know they have no chance.

To be fair we saw in the World Cup final how electric he can be, also in the biggest games. The question for me is can he do it week in week out in a stronger league against better teams.

He's 25 and been mollycoddled at PSG for seven years. There will be huge pressure on him being elite from day 1 in Madrid or wherever else, he will have to prove he can do it week in week out when the spotlight is truly on him all the time.

Jude went above and beyond and achieved it, but he's shown he's got a tremendous head on his shoulders since he was 16. Mbappe just hasn't. His behaviour at PSG, whilst understandable (he's been given loads of money, called a genius and literally had a billion-pound enterprise on strings a few years ago, I'd be a knobhead too if I knew I was that good), it doesn't suggest a player for a team game. For how good Mbappe is (and he's very good), he's two years older than Haaland and five years older than Bellingham, and I'd rather have either than him.

If this was two years ago I'd put money on him going to United.

I agree and if he continues to strop and act like he's too big for the club at his new club his legacy will be heavily tarnished. He has to buckle up and I'm not convinced he will.

Alphonso Davies to Real Madrid, contract expires in 2025 and he won't sign a new one.
