A sit on the fence answer as I expected. We scraped past Luton (at home) and drew today. Both games we should be winning comfortably. I expect better given what we're chasing and the quality of our squad which by the way is better than West Ham and Luton. it's really down to what level you think we're at I suppose.
Since when do we go to to West Ham and win comfortably. It’s their game of the season .
We didn’t scrape past Luton , loads of chances . Give yourself a shake , talking crap..

Not at all fence sitting!!! , sometimes you just have to take a point regardless of the opponent. You could go through every game and pick holes in a performance. We played well against city and got a point in a 3-3 draw, so by your logic does the balance today’s poor point? We are probably where we should be in the league right now and after the past few seasons I will take that as a starting point for this team.

Do you mean top of the league Liverpool. Go behind all the time. City hardly keep a clean sheet.
I said the odd 1 nil, don't make it sound like I'm saying it needs to be a habit. How often do they concede the soft goals we do? Too often we have these games where the opposition haven't created much yet score.

Even Richarlison isn't that strong back to goal. In the summer I would seriously consider a goalscoring 9 over another wide attacker. We have too many runners but nobody who really holds it up and links play then gets into the box to finish. Son drifts around too much which is fine when the game is open but against a packed defence rarely works.
Ivan Toney would be perfect but from what we read he sounds a bit of an arsehole, that rules him out with Ange.

All the time, they are wide open. They have a stack of goalscoring forwards so they get away with it.

Bollocks. We scraped past Luton who are relegation fodder at home to boot and you know it with an 86th minute goal. Talking crap

For sure at times but I do feel this was not one of those fixtures. It was always going to be a tight one. We have to respect the opponents. I'm not sure where this idea we should roll over West Ham away comes from. We haven't won there in 5 years, they are always well up for it and a week night 3 days after our last game is a really tough one. These midweek away fixtures have always been tricky ones. You have to dig out a narrow win at times and a solid defence does that.
I agree. It was never a roll them over game. We made a crucial mistake on a corner, and that mattered. But had we taken multiple attacking opportunities it wouldn’t have. I still think offensively we need to be more effective if we want to win these type of matches, and that is the bigger issue. We didn’t test their keeper.

Luton we won with an own goal and a deflection. By the skin of our teeth.

The overreaction on here for a 1-1 draw against a side that is always up for it against us and has only lost once in their last 15 at home is pretty wild.

I actually can't believe what I'm reading in regards to 70 percent possession away from home on two days rest is "boring". I'm hoping that we've all somehow just erased the last few seasons of what we had to watch completely out of our minds..

Fuck me, what's the matter with some of you? :D

We battered Luton and the result was fair, regardless of how the goals came. Quite how that's a negative eludes me.

Anyone reading would think Ange has been in the job for more than 7 or 8 months.

He says it often enough "we're a work in progress"

Tonight has seen even meltier meltdowns than after the Fulham game which is strange as that one was the genuinely disgraceful performance

😂😂

Am I reading this right?
people up in arms over a draw away at West Ham where we was the better team.
We’re comfortably 5th and looking like qualifying for the champions league!!!

Yes we need to improve in attack but that will come in time.
Things look extremely promising for us to me.

Even seen some fans say they can’t see where our next win is coming from, Jesus Christ!!!!

People claiming we aren't scoring enough, at this stage of the season we've scored just as many as we did in Poch's runner up season.
And before the West Ham game we hadn't scored more since 1963.

I'd have taken a point before a ball was kicked.

Good performance, one more tough un' gone for the season and much to look forward to.

Ange knows where our weakness is, and it will be fixed this Summer.

COYS!
