Started really promisingly but then we seemed to completely lose the plot half way through.

Porro just doesn’t get used as much as he did earlier in the season
It feels a bit like something has changed tactically the last 4-5 games and/or we are just struggling against these low blocks but as you say Porro & also Udogie are less of a threat lately and also generally the team is trying to score this scripted cross and tap in goal over and over when there are times when we really could do with mixing it up and crossing it from a bit deeper or occasionally shooting from distance.

I know it’s a harder league etc but when I watched Ange’s Celtic they mixed up there attack a lot more but I suppose the defences were worse and also their profile of attackers with Kyogo and Jota really suited how Ange wants to play.

We could really do with a Jota type player off the left who can beat a man and create and score consistently similar to a Marhez on the right.

We’ve regressed massively , so many players off form for too long . The shape is completely wrong , it requires the players to press and at the moment we look so laboured . Both full backs don’t cover forward runs and leaves us so wide open to anyone with pace out wide and we still have the problem of having only one way to score a goal . Why won’t Sonny shoot anymore .so much wrong even - if we win this there are lots of question marks .

Why don’t we swap Werner and Son around now and then just to change it up a bit? Can guarantee they will double up on Son and create more space in the middle.

The defence is a bigger problem. How are we this open with Vicario, Romero, VDV and Udogie at the back?

Yep it's mad. But we know it's 100% because the full backs are not instructed to be level with the 2 centre backs. Not only have I missed a variation to our goals I've also on occasions missed seeing the back 4 all in 1 line

But I can be accused of being old school.

We're definitely still short of leaders throughout the squad

You just don't really see anyone getting angry on the pitch much, and I still don't think that collectively we have high enough a demand of each other. We can be sloppy, whether it's in terms of passing, positioning or tracking back, and there's no sort of moral consequence, it looks too easily accepted.

Once again we go ahead but as soon as the opposition equalizes all our confidence evaporates and we’re on the back foot. Too many players don’t seem switched on. Numerous times a ball’s played into a player in or around the box and they’re caught flat footed. Except for Werner’s crosses and Bissouma’s shots from outside the area we’ve posed no threat at all. We don’t look like a team who have a good chance to go 4th. There is a distinct lack of energy and desire.

This team is steadily getting worse as the season goes on.

Very concerning.
This is it. If we'd started the season like this and gradually improved that would be one thing but we played incredibly well until the Chelsea match, it understandably all went to shit for a period after that but now we're all but at full strength again and we're getting worse, not better.

We might well come out and smash them in the second half but the fact that we have periods of play like this against dross like Forest is just not acceptable. This isn't down to the playing staff or Ange needing time to get his ideas across or whatever, we should be wiping the floor with these sorts of teams.

I naively thought we'd get Micky and Maddison back and it'd be like flicking a switch and we'd attack the run-in but it just hasn't happened.

Well that was a jekyll and hide half.
Seems pretty clear Yates is going to get a free pass from a second yellow whatever he does but I'd keep working on him anyway, Nuno might pull him as a precaution.
Our goal was good work but there wasn't a Spurs player in five yards of the defender who had he missed it it wouldn't have mattered and our centre forward was ten yards outside the box, that has to change.
No changes at half time for me but if the second half starts like the first ended that'll change.

Such a bizarre team. Bossing the game, pressing well, passing well, shooting from distance (!). Concede one chance and turn to jelly.

Bissouma really hasn't been great, Sarr a bit off, and Maddison could either stick it in the top corner from 30 yards or punch the Ref. Not sure which yet.

Werner really the only one who looks as though he wants to make something happen, even if it's only a one in three chance of it coming off.
I’m going to have to disagree there mate. I think he’s done quite well so far, yeah he’s made a few mistakes but I think he’s been better than most out there so far.

This is going to sound controversial but it's not meant to be. I'm getting bored of the same goal being scored. I've never remembered our avenues to goal to be so so repetitive even during the dark days
The lack of variation is definitely an issue.

1) Stop us going wide and we’re fucked
2) you know we’ll give away cheap goals

That needs to change, because we’ll never progress beyond a certain point unless it does
