    JJ told us weeks ago that Moutinho would be a longshot on the last day of the window. I'm not to happy with how this ran out, but looking at our squad I'm kind of looking forward to this season. I think AVB can work his magic with these players. Thank good we are not Liverpool!

    If the initials (BM) were wrong as JJ said, could he mean Real Madrid (RM)? Sami Khedira scored a volley two days ago, and might be surplus to requirement if they buy Modric. Also, I seem to remember some ITK claiming a player would be included in the Modric deal.

    I'm afraid Bale could turn into the world beater we have seen the glimpses of if he ends up in another club. If a good manager (not "run around a bit" Harry) can guide and mould him he has the potential to be truly great.
