    Would assume there's some truth in this given Balague's closeness to the club. Can't blame Barkley though - he knew at both clubs he wasn't a first XI player so decided to earn more sitting on the bench at Chelsea than sitting on the bench at Spurs.

    Not having any excuse about pitch dimensions. The training pitches at the Training Centre are replica's of Wembley's. Zero excuse.
