    Team v. Palace (Sept 14)

100% for real. 21 defeats in 63 games. The defending in those two games were completely reflective of this run of form. Don't let 2 amazing results and experiences paper over the massive cracks.

Pressing problem: Is Pochettino changing approach this season?

That seems to be a team ethos, that may may not be based on his fitness.. Central midfields don't press high behind the forwards very often. Also feel like everytime he has been injured he came back before ready, and it was painfully visable.

Pressing problem: Is Pochettino changing approach this season?

Harry looks mobile to me. But that is not relevant when you are asking him to stand on the D surrounded by 3 defenders for 15 home games per season.

    Team v. Palace (Sept 14)

Sanchez injured. Well that's one result. Lets have a right back at right back. A midfield pair that look like they actually know how to play as a midfield pair. And somebody other than Kane with a remote interest of getting in the box against a 10 man defence. You know..... common sense.

Pressing problem: Is Pochettino changing approach this season?

We haven't been a pressing team for over 2 years.

Winks has been a busy man so far this season

Yep, totally agree it's my fault for taking the bait.

Winks has been a busy man so far this season

This is exactly why I say not to post shyte from 3rd rate football bloggers. Anyone could write this article, without watching a single Spurs game this season, and somehow believe they couldn't possibly be wrong. If Ballon Dor's were given out for passing a lot and still not controlling...

Trippier warns Spurs will regret transfer exit

After 3 good games he is giving it the mouth. We will see how their fans react after he gives a goal away and feigns injury like he did twice last year.

The problem with Danny Rose and Spurs' familiar defensive mistake

Its telling that this thread has no replies. Why does this site indulge articles from z-list football bloggers?

Match Threads Arsenal vs Spurs - Match Thread

My view is of several years of football. I have little expectation to be honest. And I don't know what is defined as a good game on here. To me, he is sitting in front of the back 4, and our back 4 is still being peppered with chances. The midfield as a whole, were not working hard enough to...

Final balls are developed when you are 10, not 30. It's not the points, its the performances. They are a continuation of 9 months of dreadful league form

Match Threads Arsenal vs Spurs - Match Thread

Regarding Winks, You are seeing individual moments that look good. He is not controlling games at all, be it today, or against sides parking the bus. I honestly don't know what you are watching. No pressing, no risk taking, no passing range, just a few good interceptions and tackles, which is...

Match Threads Arsenal vs Spurs - Match Thread

It's all such obvious stuff Winks and sissoko didnt control 1 minute of that game. Play the right back on the bench at right back. Why can we all see it. So so poor. On the break they were they for the taking 2nd half. So many breaks and we created 1 solid chance. Even that was from an...

Neville summing us up perfectly. The midfield is awful. It's like passing rou d traffic cones.

    The beginning of the end...

Unfortunate to say the least. Incredible performances against 2 teams that went down and 1 whose manager was sacked the week after if I recall correctly (I do), as well as high flyers newcastle and Brighton. It was the performances that dropped off a cliff, and the results followed. We were...

    The beginning of the end...

Yes, over a large data set, against reasonable opposition. Not 6 games against absolute turd. We made Columbia look good, and Croatia were just a much better side than us. So, first challenge, failed. Exactly why I rate the 86 point season as the best in my supporting lifetime of give or take...

    The beginning of the end...

Ok, I agree to an extent, but right now, we are worse than mediocre. This isn't a 5 game bad patch. It's 9 months, well over 25 matches. Since we beat Arsenal in the league cup, and then hammered Everton and Bournemouth. How does a team go from that good (We were looking fantastic) to the team...
