I hope no offence is taken but there is something i find quite strange about grown men having a players name on the back. Its fine for kids and teenagers, but anything else is just wrong.

I went out on sunday and not thinking arsenal had been playing started off in highbury and islington. The sight off grown men with beer bellies wearing the shirt with with fiberglass 4 on the back made me cringe. why as a grown man would you want the name of a 21-22 on your back?

Each to their own i guess but its not for me.

You could say the same for dedicating time and emotions to a club, who dont know who the hell you are:grin: Unrequited love!

I have visions of Arsene Wengers wardrobe now...

He'd look sexy modelling a Walcott shirt.

I'm going to wait until Modric proves himself. I never put names of players on my shirt until they prove they are worthy.

Im suprised anyone over the age of 16 gets players names on the back, but then I never was into getting names on my shirts (each to their own I guess)

If you buy the shirt and get the number/name done at the same time its only £5 from JJB sports....the prem badges are however £5 each.

I think it's stupid to get a shirt at all. Supporting a football team? How 5-year old can you get?

And everyone like us to splash out £millions after millions on players and wages. These millions are recouped by tickets and merchandise. 1+1=2

Never had a number or name on any Spurs shirt I've had. I guess if I was to have a name it would be my own, but what with me being 30 and overweight, the chances of ever playing for Spurs are shrinking rapidly.

I usually get my home shirt from Brigg Sports (InterSport) in Wood Green (N22). They usually have the home and away kits there every season. If you buy the shirt from them they give you any name and number for FREE!
