Neil Warnock believes Djed Spence will really thrive under the leadership of Antonio Conte as a move to Tottenham beckons.

to be fair Warnock is prob spot on, they clearly didn't see eye to eye and he believes however he believes spence is amazing going forward but needs a strong manager who will take no shit, and who will improve him defensively i would say warnocks comments basically say done deal.

Warnock also thinks its the best move for spence given conte is a great coach.

I'm not convinced Warnock's comments confirm that the deal is done, as Warnock is no longer at the club...

Warnock also thinks Levy "isn't the type" to spend £50m on a player (Richarlison), despite Ndombele, Sanchez, Lo Celso & Romero costing in that ballpark. Kulusevski will cost circa £40m with the loan fee factored in.

Two things, I am sure that Paratici has made Conte aware of the character that Spence has, and there is no doubt that Conte will handle the player.

Secondly i love a player with a chip on his shoulder, who wants to prove people wrong and who wants to be a winner. The signings we have made so far all have that in them.

Really good business if Spence joins us.
