Perez: Two more in and 10 out for Real

Reuters - Yesterday, 10:41

MADRID - Real Madrid need to sign two more players and off-load about 10 to round off their summer transfer dealings, club president Florentino Perez has said.
The nine-times European champions have already splashed around 215 million euros on bringing striker Karim Benzema, winger Cristiano Ronaldo, playmaker Kaka and defender Raul Albiol to the Bernabeu.
"Now we need to calm down a little because squads usually have around 25 players and ours now has some 35," Perez told Spanish television station Cuatro.
"We need to concentrate our efforts on convincing some players that they will have to leave. It should not be forgotten there is a World Cup next summer and all our players want to play in it.
"If players aren't going to have the chance to participate here they'll want to do it somewhere else, to be able to make it to the World Cup.
"As to new signings, I think with two more we would have sufficient."
Perez was asked about Real's interest in Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery and Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso.
"They are both great players but their clubs don't want to sell them, though in the world of football situations can change," he added.
Real have already sold Javier Saviola, and the Dutch contingent of Ruud van Nistelrooy, Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart, Royston Drenthe and Klaas Jan Huntelaar are all reportedly on the market.

Well, with Saviola gone, i would imagine those could be 7 of them?

Sneijder and Robben to Bayern for Ribery is what is being reported today. They would be happy to go there as Bayern pay huge wages

Reports are saying Madrid turned down Milan for KVH.
I'm not sure whether this is because Milan wanted a year loan or whether Madrid now want to keep him.

I never get the appeal of Bayern, I know they're in the Champion's League but the standard of football week in week out is so poor. Admittedly it's improving, quickly, but it's still no comparison to La Liga, EPL or Serie A.

madrid are being stupid, they want to offload him but in return want to make a profit of what they have paid for him 6 months ago because they've bought kaka from milan.

I can't believe how easily they got Ribery from Marseille. Bayern do still have a great reputation around Europe. One of my favourite stadiums and they pay players like Klose, Ribery and Toni over 90k a week which helps their appeal. It's good in a way that they are still able to get top players as it would be boring everyone just going to spain and England

it is a nice stadium but in the middle of nowhere. 20 minutes at least on the train and there is no ball gartens or pubs outside the stadium.

plus the one time I went there last year it was snowing during the game and -6 c

I think German football is quite good, I really enjoyed the UEFA semi and it is really well attended.

Bundesliga far more competitive than La Liga and Premiership which only have 2 and 3 teams respectiviely that have any chance of winning the league.

IMO its the best league to watch in Europe

as a neutral maybe. I have become a bit of a Bayern fan after spending couple of weeks there last year.

still think La liga is the best football.. However for the neutral watching Barca thrash some minnows like Gijon, Tenerife(promoted) cant be that interesting.

Youd get 50-1 odds for Tenerife to win in the nou camp
