Couple of thoughts on Wimbledon this year...
The last time we had a British champion was the last time we made a major hoo-hah about the Queen's jubilee? Hhhmmmmm?
Secondly, there are a lot of 'ticket selling companies' getting seriously worried about the current financial crisis. The market has suddenly become flooded with spare Debenture tickets for the major matches - from some financial institutions (not sure about Barclays at the moment). It's not quite so bad for those holders selling their tickets back through the club or through re-sellers. Hospitality companies though are seriously discounting tix at the moment. I find it slightly amusing actually. People getting their arses bitten.

hmm... the court doesn't really look that good atm... only the 3rd round matches too.
