With the u18's in Belgium for a pre-season camp and matches v Club Bruges, most of the development squad will be likely to be tied up playing in the Spurs X1 match v P'boro. unless Poch wants to put a few fringe first team players into that match with perhaps a few development players being in the first team squad v Reading.

Shame so many of the first team games are behind closed doors - would be interesting at the very least to see the line ups and substitutions

Don't get why this all is behind closed doors. Not fan friendly, and some young players could do with playing in front of a crowd

Gives Pochettino the opportunity to work on the team with new players and ideas without the pressure of our supporters going apeshit if things don't go to plan. I like it and hope it will lead to us being better prepared for the big games than previous years.
Should be far more effective than the tours we're used to
